According to the General Hospital (GH) spoilers, Réal Andrews addressed his absence and a possible return to the show. Fans noticed that his character Marcus Taggert went missing from Port Charles. Andrews broke his silence in a new social media post. Keep on reading to learn more.
General Hospital Spoilers – Réal Andrews Breaks Silence
On Tuesday, February 20, Réal Andrews took to his social media accounts to address his return to General Hospital. He answered a question from a fan. The GH user simply asked: “Are you coming back to General Hospital?”
Andrews wore a camouflaged hoodie in the video. First, he thanked the fan for their support of the character. He then paused before he addressed his future on the show. Andrews didn’t reveal the reason for his absence. However, he encouraged GH fans to pray for his return.
“I think at this point, it’s really going to be up to you guys, and God, first and foremost,” Andrews said. “If God wants me back, I’ll be back. But also with your support, you guys have a very loud voice, especially in today’s message and age. So between God and you all making a bunch of noise, if it’s meant to be, I’ll be back, and if I’m back, I’ll bring it. That’s what I do.”
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Taggert won’t return to Port Charles anytime soon. It would have to take an act of faith to make it happen.
Andrews encouraged the fanbase to get their voices heard. Andrews first appeared on General Hospital in 1996 and made appearances over the years. His last appearance was in 2023.
GH Spoilers – Legacy Character Missing From Main Storyline
GH fans noticed that Taggart is needed in a necessary storyline. The legacy character was prominent in a storyline involving Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Taggert’s character learned that Trina wasn’t his biological daughter. However, that didn’t change the way that Trina felt about him.
The General Hospital spoilers suggest that Taggert is still needed in Trina’s storyline. Fans are patiently waiting for Taggert’s return. But, he has yet to show up on the show.
There are also rumors that Trina could leave Port Charles after Spencer’s exit (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Andrews didn’t address the status of his contract with the ABC soap.

Yes Trina certainly needs Taggert in her life, especially right now. Where is he. I can’t believe they haven’t had him here to support Trina thru this. He was her father all her life and she needs him.
Trina has known Curtis for about a minute of her life and GH writers chose to eliminate Taggert from her life??? She doesn’t even mention him. It is a disgrace not to involve him in her life!
Yes real Andrew Taggert needs to come back and have a good storyline with great exciting scenes as he always was and is….I think it was wrong he was down played with Jordan and being a good policeman I also think he was down played with Curtis to place of being nothing,he raised Trina and good Father and was shafted like a nothing nobody.Shame on GH.
