General Hospital Spoilers gush that while we love the leading men of Port Charles, we know that in real life, most of them would break our hearts. The men that make our world go round when we tune into GH five days a week are the very same men who actually aren’t always that family-oriented. In fact, sometimes they’re downright selfish — and they certainly don’t always know how to treat a woman.

Hey, it works in Port Chuck — a land where people can come back from the dead multiple times, marry and divorce the same woman five times over, and somehow peacefully coexist when they marry their friends’ exes. But which of these men would be most likely to be the worst partners if they existed in reality?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Dad’s Don’t Have It

As much as we love the men of Port Charles and all that they bring to the table, we have to admit most women wouldn’t be thrilled to be saddled with several of them as fathers.

While they haven’t all been terrible partners, many of them haven’t held up their end of the deal when it comes to being quality dads.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is one such dad. He may have played it well through the infant and toddler years, but he hasn’t been there for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) over the years, nor Jake Spencer (Hudson West). Watching him step up to the plate now is refreshing, but is it too little too late?

Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) only just returned home after a ten-year hiatus, and he’s already thinking about ditching Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) again.

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has never really been present for Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos). They’re just the tip of the iceberg.

GH Spoilers – Spill Drew Quartermaine Is Seedy And Shady

It’s not all about kids though. Some of the men in Port Chuck are great fathers, but describing them as great partners is a stretch.

Look at Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). He’s sleeping with his nephew Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

She has asked him many times to stay away from her and he hasn’t respected her wishes. Further, he’s hooking up with Willow’s mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), with neither of them knowing about the other. His only concern is making sure the truth doesn’t come out.

The king of Port Charles reigns supreme, and we accept him — flaws and all — because it’s a soap opera. Don’t get it twisted. In real life, few women would be proud to call Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) their man.

Not only is he a career criminal who pushes drugs through the region, but he has cheated on pretty much every woman he has ever claimed to love.

He has killed people, and ordered hits on many more. He still has toddler-style tantrums when he feels betrayed — at his age. Sonny, we love you. Never change, but we’re happy you exist only in the memories of our television sets. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
