General Hospital Spoilers — Reiko Finn And Hamilton Finn Wanted Different Things
They may have both been driven by their passion for medicine, but Finn was the real mad scientist. Hyper-focused on finding a cure for Blackwood’s Syndrome, Finn accidentally exposes himself and Reiko to it, and she becomes ill.
In a weird twist, it was Raymond Berlin’s (Robert Curtis Brown) – Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) father — who orchestrated a Ponzi scheme that got the clinic Finn was working with shut down. Without funding, Finn was unable to chase the cure for Blackwood’s that could have saved Reiko’s life. But hindsight is 20/20 in Port Charles. Could it be that Reiko’s death was staged so Finn would leave her and her baby behind without question? Why might Reiko have wanted that?

As Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) begins to unearth more to the mystery memories she’s been recalling, she’ll come to see Reiko was noticeably pregnant at the bottom of those stairs. Initially, Elizabeth is going to worry that she was not only involved in injuring Reiko, but perhaps Finn’s child, too.

In her memory, Elizabeth can only see Reiko lying at the bottom of a staircase after she struggled with her and warned her to stay away from her father. The pieces of this puzzle — along with some of the reasons Elizabeth has remained distant from her father — are going to come to light. Will it become clearer to Elizabeth that Reiko was cheating on Finn? How will she make sense of never remembering until now that she knew Finn’s late wife?

It’s going to come down to one or the other. If Reiko was having an affair with Jeff, it’s possible she was carrying a baby that would be Elizabeth’s half-sister or half-brother. On the other hand, Reiko may have been carrying Finn’s baby. Are fans ready for Finn to have yet another surprise child he didn’t know about a la Hayden style?
