General Hospital Spoilers: Ric And Sonny’s Volatile Confrontation Over Their Daughters

General Hospital Spoilers: Ric And Sonny's Volatile Confrontation Over Their DaughtersGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) doesn’t appear to be telling the whole story about his return to Port Charles.

Ric claims that he only returned to town to support his daughter, Moilly Lansing-Davis (Kristan Vaganos) after the death of her unborn daughter.

As viewers know, Molly’s half-sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) agreed to be Molly’s surrogate but was involved in an unfortunate accident at the Metro Court.

Molly was devastated by the loss and was quite pleased to see her father show up to support her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing May Have Been Planning His Return For Awhile

But there have been other signs that seem to indicate that Ric’s return has been planned for a bit longer at the very least. Even before the funeral for Molly’s baby, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had called Ric and asked him to be Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) attorney.

Because Ava is being accused of trying to kill Kristina at the Metro Court, Ric declined the case due to conflict of interest. Even so, Nina called Ric even before he arrived in Port Charles and agreed to meet with Ava.

Ric also had been in contact with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) at some point regarding Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case.

GH Spoilers – Ric Lansing Took Over For Scott Baldwin

Just weeks ago, Scott was seeing dollar signs regarding Heather’s lawsuit against the medical supply company that manufactured Heather’s defective hip replacement.

Not long after, Scott mysteriously left Port Charles and Ric was suddenly Heather’s new lawyer per Scott’s request.

It’s been hinted that Scott’s disappearance may not have been completely his choice. Either way, it appears that Ric was already planning to replace Scott before he even came back to town.

There’s no doubt that Ric loves Molly very much, but his Port Charles return seems to have been in the making for a while now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Is Ric Lansing Really Back!

It seems as if Ric may have an ulterior motive for returning to Port Charles after more than a decade. One possibility is his hatred for his own half-brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

Ric and Sonny have pretty much always been at odds, and it seems likely that Sonny is the true reason Ric has returned. The two of them haven’t yet run into each other since Ric’s return but it’s only a matter of time before they have a confrontation about Kristina and Molly.

But Ric’s plans may go far deeper than that if he wants to finally destroy his half-brother and all his allies, starting with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Why is Ric really back in Port Charles? Is he here solely to support Molly? Or has he been planning his return and revenge on Sonny for a while now? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Not a Rick fan he’s done alot of bad stuff to people in port Charles he’s definitely come back to town to hurt his half brother & more it’s not for good caring reasons like helping Molly & now she’s hurt wanting to tear her sister apart in a vindictive frame of mind there’s just so much pain going on now & started with cates wanting to hurt sonny by tearing him & his family down. Did he really hide the baby Kristina had? TJ is the father & so he will have rights to the baby but with all the hate & anger going on we know it pushed sonny over the edge to take cates out because he wasn’t going to stop now ric is going to be just as bad as cates. Not looking forward to all that.
