General Hospital Spoilers: Ric's Not Beyond Playing Dirty-Digs Up Curtis' Cocaine-Filled Past?General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) not beyond playing dirty if necessary, in order to win a case.

He just accepted Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) civil case against Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for pain and suffering-might he dig up Curtis’ cocaine-filled past?

Curtis Lost His Chance To Be A DEA Agent To Drugs

Long-time General Hospital fans may remember when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) first came to Port Charles, it was an agent for the DEA, or Drug Enforcement Administration.

It was through her work with the DEA that she had come to know and become good friends with Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) when the DEA and WSB collaborated.

Jordan had also worked with former PCPD cop Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), who had become a DEA agent.

Curtis had been a friend of Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) and also Jordan’s late husband Tommy Ashford’s (uncast) brother. Jordan recruited Curtis into the DEA, but he soon was dismissed due to struggles with cocaine addiction.

Curtis’ Drug Addiction And Other Crimes Are A Matter Of Public Record

Curtis’ past drug addiction and other crimes are a matter of public record-there are a smattering of breaking and entering charges and fights and threats. But the past crimes that Ric will focus on will be those that resulted in fights with injuries, and a few shootings.

But he may also point out that cocaine addicts, even if they’ve been clean for a while, tend to have explosive tempers-and there are dozens of scientific studies showing links between addiction and violence.

Curtis may not have snorted coke for many years, but he drinks alcohol on a regular basis-and there are just as many scientific studies about mean drunks!

Ric will do his due diligence to make sure that Isaiah is proven the wronged party, and that Curtis lashed out and assaulted him because of his personality tied to past addictions.

Ric May Even Be Able To Dig Up Curtis Trying To Set Up A Hit On Drew Cain

Because of Ric’s ties to Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) and Sonny’s friendship with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) he may even be able to dig up Curtis’ attempted hit on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Curtis changed his mind and called it off at the time, but it would be proof of the intent to kill someone or have them killed that Ric would want to use. Curtis had started to pay Ms. Wu to have Drew killed-who used to be his best friend-but he didn’t wire the payment.

But nevertheless, even though the hit didn’t happen, it was just one of many crimes or almost crimes that Ric can use to prove what kind of man Curtis really is.

That is why he assaulted Isaiah just for feeling Portia Robinson’s (Brook  Kerr) baby move, which she allowed-but Curtis didn’t!
