General Hospital Spoilers: Ric Suspects Liz & Dante Cheating, Goes Totally Off The Rails?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may be making a big mistake by choosing to have faith in Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and the changes he’s made.

Liz sees a big difference in Ric, so she’s decided she’s willing to take the risk and see where this relationship could go.

Of course, Elizabeth has been burned by possessive Ric in the past, so she’s proceeding with caution. Liz also had some stipulations for Ric about trusting each other and not putting her on a pedestal.

Ric would do just about anything for Elizabeth, but she’s not looking for someone who’ll go off the rails trying to please and keep her. Although Ric thinks he’s a better man and that he can do things right this time, trouble could be looming.

Elizabeth voiced concerns about Ric working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and being part of his brother’s world. There are a lot of ways that could go wrong, but Ric feels like he has a good grip on the situation.

The real problem could be the growing bond between Elizabeth and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). It’s obvious Dante’s developed a bit of a crush on Liz at this point.

Dante and Elizabeth have definitely been sharing scenes more often lately, so the show has to be going somewhere with this. Since Dante warned Liz to be careful when it came to her reconnection with Ric, he clearly sees the potential for more issues between them.

Despite Ric’s best efforts to stay on track, he may ultimately ignore Elizabeth’s pleas and make more mistakes. Ric’s trust could go right out the window if he suspects Liz is cheating on him with Dante.

GH spoilers suggest Elizabeth and Dante will keep finding reasons to stay in each other’s orbit. That’s probably going to strengthen Dante’s feelings for Liz and lead to her developing some feelings of her own.

Elizabeth might have an emotional affair with Dante or even get swept up in a kiss with him at some point.

Even if Liz manages to stay loyal to Ric and keep things platonic with Dante, Ric’s mind may go to the worst possible places. Ric’s jealousy could drive him down a dangerous road that ends with him making moves he’ll regret.

If Ric goes wild and reverts to bad behavior, Elizabeth certainly isn’t going to like it. Liz may see that Ric hasn’t changed as much as she’d hoped and dump him if all this gets bad enough.
