Ric Lansing Is On The Case

General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, October 13 episode note that Ric and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) were both disappointed to lose the bid for the piers to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and JJE.

Both Sonny and Ric wondered who Hudson was, prompting the lawyer to launch a bit of an investigation into the mysterious man.

It was clear that Ric was rubbed the wrong way by Hudson and the feeling was mutual. Ric referred to Hudson as a lackey, and Hudson told Joss during their celebration that he was “allergic” to guys like Ric.

It’s odd that Ric and Hudson are crossing paths. Hudson seemed more focused on his disdain for Ric than Sonny, which is a bit odd. It also seems like this might be part of a bigger storyline setup.

Who Is Hudson Parker’s Daddy?

Hudson also seemed to imply that he would be waiting on tarmacs for guys like Ric, almost seemingly suggesting he’s lived in the lap of luxury.

Many fans can’t seem to shake that Hudson could be Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) son, which would explain his vested interest in JJE.

Plus, while fans may have believed initially that Hudson could be a romantic interest to Joss, is it that the two are bonding (as friends) because the soap will eventually reveal that he’s, her cousin?

Ric could do some digging and uncover that bombshell; however, what if Hudson’s bio dad hits closer to home?

Could Hudson be an unknown child of his? The hatred they shared after only a few moments of dialogue is very soapy for this kind of arc.

It’s very typical of a daytime drama storyline where a parent meets their unknown child. They don’t like each other at first, only to find out the truth: there’s conflict at first, until a bond is established.

Either way, it’ll be interesting to see what Ric comes up with when he takes a deep dive into Hudson’s past!
