General Hospital Spoilers: Ric’s Revenge – Working For Sidwell?

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has seemingly turned a leaf and is trying to re-establish a relationship with his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

But is he really working the ultimate revenge scheme by getting closer to the mob boss and going back to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) with intel?

Ric Lansing Is A Changed Man

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ric claims to be a changed man. He wants to do better to not only win the affections of Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Hearbst) but also bond with the only family he has – other than his daughter Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) – the Corinthos clan.

Ric has been trying to prove himself to Sonny to gain his trust back and become “brothers” again, but is Ric up to something far more dastardly?

Ric recently claimed that his time in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement helped him gain perspective. But did it just deepen his need for revenge?

Ric’s Motive

During the Thursday, March 26 episode, Sonny heavily confided in Ric. From Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) plans to end Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to Jason’s plan to skip town, and Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) blackmailing the mob boss, Sonny really opened up to Ric.

In fact, the mob boss left himself vulnerable to Ric. Still, Ric has more of a motive to become a better person than to cross Sonny.

After all, being a good individual would secure a romantic reunion with Liz, something Ric has been yearning for a while. Plus, he gets a real family in Sonny and his children.

With that said, Ric may give Alexis grace on the entire basement-hostage situation, but what about Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi)?

Ric has never liked Molly’s older sister, so could that be the reason he’s befriending Sonny and trying to earn his trust? If Ric brings Sonny down, Kristina would be devastated … so is that the ultimate goal?

With the intel, Ric could be on Sidwell’s payroll, running to him whenever he gathers any information on Sonny. While Sidwell is blackmailing Sonny, Ric could be the ace in the hole to ensure Sidwell is always one step ahead.
