General Hospital Spoilers: Robert And Anna Clash - He Believes Obrecht Was FramedGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that ex-spouses District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and WSB agent Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will clash over the arrest of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) for the crimes that Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) believe Peter August (Wes Ramsey) committed; Scorpio will side with Spinelli and believe Obrecht was framed, in an upcoming episode of GH!

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Is On Top Of The World, But Robert Scorpio Will Soon Bring Her Down!

Right now, Anna is on top of the world; she found evidence in investigations of Lumina Industrial, the second DVX shell company that would have tied David Black (Lon Gowan) and Peter together, that Obrecht, rather than Peter, had worked there at the same time. Her fiancé, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and his little girl, Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) have moved in, and her son Peter is off the law enforcement radar – or so she thinks! Robert doesn’t believe the chain of evidence tying Obrecht to Lumina is correct – he has conflicting evidence saying that she worked elsewhere during that time period and could not possibly be tied to Lumina or Euro-Tech.

She had been working at the Crichton Clark clinic and also the clinic in Switzerland where Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) had been held for a number of years for that same time period– Anna should remember that she had first encountered Obrecht there when trying to rescue Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and found the real Duke and rescued him too! Robert simply just doesn’t believe Anna anymore – she is so obsessed with Peter being innocent that she is believing false or altered intel, probably altered by one of Peter’s contacts!

It hurts Anna that Robert doesn’t believe her or even trust her, even though they have been divorced for years. There was a time when they had each other’s back, even after they broke up and divorced.

General Hospital Spoilers – Robert Scorpio And Anna Devane Have A Relationship Ending Argument Over Peter August

Robert and Anna will always be tied to each other because of Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and their grandchildren together, but they will have an argument over Peter that will break their relationship otherwise. Anna is hurt and offended that Robert doesn’t believe or trust her and that he would take the word of a woman like Obrecht, who even while chasing after Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) half her life, put a mask on to look like Anna and chased after Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan)!

Not to mention all the other nefarious undertakings that she has been involved in most of her life! But Robert cannot get past that no matter how much the intel Anna fell for conflicts with the facts, even facts that she herself knew and was involved in at the time, i.e., she rescued Robin and Duke from the clinic in Switzerland the same time period Obrecht supposedly worked at Lumina, which is nowhere near the clinic, she has totally been blinded by her obsession to protect Peter, who he always will refer to as Heinrik Faison, who has been linked to many a crime and dastardly act!

Later, Anna talks to Finn about what she and Robert discussed, and even Finn is unsettled, albeit privately. Finn would have much more peace about this whole thing if he knew for certain what kind of man Peter really is, with all evidence pointing to the contrary of what he is making himself out to be!

      I think that Anna will continue to believe in Peter. It will be easy for Robert to believe Liesl. Robert has not liked Peter from the beginning. He can only see Faison when he looks at Peter. Robert wanted to take down Faison for all that he did to Anna and his loved one but did not get to. I believe that if Robert had been more open to Peter and had not been so hostile to him that when Peter was in trouble from Shiloh he might have thought that Robert could have been an ally to go to for help. Peter might not have done all these shady things. Robert even told Maxie that Peter would mess her life up at some point. It is truly sad that Peter has been taken down this horrible, sad, and dark path. He was trying to live a good life with Maxie and form a relationship with Anna. I have hoped that there was more to this situation with Peter. I want things to work out for Anna and Peter so that they can continue to bond as mother and son. I want Maxie and Peter to make it. I want Liesl to be alright. She and Peter love Maxie and James. I hope that Robert and Peter can make peace for Anna. Maybe Robert and Liesl could become friends out of this situation. I hope that Peter will get back on the road to redemption for the ones that he loves. I just want this whole situation to be fixed.
