General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Wasn’t Drugged — It’s All A Ruse

General Hospital spoilers tease Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is an intelligent man, and he knows his loved ones well. He pays attention to their behavior, their character, the tone of their voice, their ability to look him in the eye, and much more. One could say he never really takes his cop hat off. So it’s understandable that it only took him about a month to realize Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) was lying to him.

Sure, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) might’ve nudged him along, but Robert already knew Holly was up to something; he just didn’t want to admit it to himself. So he laid a trap for Holly and she took the bail. This allowed her to finally open up to him about why she’s working for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy), and now they’re working together to put an end to it once and for all.

Robert and Holly knew they weren’t going to be able to pull this off on their own, so they pulled in the one person Robert knew he could trust who would also have some authority — Laura. As these three friends scheme to fool Victor into letting his guard down and losing control, a few hiccups are expected along the way.

As Holly holds Laura hostage on General Hospital, it may all be a part of the show they’re staging for Victor. Holly might let Laura go before things go too far, but we’ll have to stay tuned to find out. Although it may seem like Laura was surprised when Holly pulled out a gun and told her where to drive, it’s possible they’re covering every base because Victor is always listening and seems to have eyes everywhere in Port Charles. Holly may even be wearing a wire since he’s had trouble trusting her as of late. Nonetheless, whether Laura is in on the plan or not, she could become collateral damage in Victor’s pursuit of that necklace, and let’s be honest, he wouldn’t mind.

As far as Victor is concerned, Holly was supposed to snake that necklace off of Robert’s wrist and bring it to him right away. Instead, she ended up in the Square on a park bench as though she was waiting for someone. Was she really intended to take a ride share with a $35 million necklace in tow? When Laura approached her, was it all a part of the act to take Victor down? He’s about to find out.
