General Hospital spoilers reveal that Roger Howarth has made a temporary exit from the ABC soap. Even though Franco Baldwin was killed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), the actor is coming back. New information reveals that he is going to strip down bare when he comes back. We also know that he’s making a comeback during May Sweeps, but as who?

GH spoilers reveal that a death was teased, which led to speculation that Peter would be killed off. However, that didn’t happen. Instead, it was Franco who was murdered and the killer was Peter. Unfortunately, Peter continues to strut around Port Charles a free man. Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is behind bars accused of killing Franco.

GH Spoilers – Two Characters Eliminated

After Franco’s death aired, Howarth spoke to Soap Opera Digest and confirmed he would be back. It’s not as Franco, so the man is going to stay dead. It was also confirmed that Howarth isn’t coming back as the other character he played, Todd Manning. So, these two possibilities have been eliminated.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Howarth is coming back for May Sweeps. The only question is who will he be playing? The ABC soap is keeping that secret closely guarded. However, Haworth did tease to SOD that the writers have always done him right and this is no exception. So, it sounds like he is pretty happy with the character he will be playing, along with the first storyline.

It is teased that Howarth’s upcoming character will strip down bare. Well, at least he will be mostly bare! It is speculated that this role actually might be less serious and more comical. One thing about all four soaps is that fans have been talking about all the doom and gloom. Even though conflict is necessary for soaps, viewers really want some chuckles, too. So, it sounds like GH might be listening and trying to make that happen.

GH Spoilers – New Role And Big Story?

Most likely, Haworth is playing a brand new character. With him looking exactly like Franco, the soap needs to address that somehow. After all, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be stunned to see who she thinks is her husband. There is also Cameron Webber (Michael Lipton), who is currently going off the deep end. His spiral is directly connected to Franco’s death. So, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

One big story could be finding out that this mystery character has existing ties in Port Charles. That happens a lot on GH, so it wouldn’t be too shocking to find out he has links in PC. We will have to stay tuned to find out what the writers have come up with for Howarth’s new chapter!
