General Hospital Spoilers – Jackie Templeton And Robert Scorpio Go Way Back
Longtime General Hospital fans know that Jackie and Robert go way back – way, WAY back! Jackie dated Robert in between his marriage to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and his marriage to Holly Sutton Scorpio (Emma Samms). Jackie, Robert, and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) were in a romantic triangle before Robert, Luke and Holly were. This all took place during the time that Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) had disappeared. It was later revealed that she was on Cassadine Island, kidnapped.
A quick General Hospital recap, Jackie was the one who discovered Susan Moore’s (Gail Ramsey) dead body. Susan was the birth mother of Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Susan died on February 11, 1983. Holly’s son Ethan Spencer (Nathan Parsons), who we just saw on GH, was born on September 22, 1987. Jackie just slugged Robert in the stomach for cheating on her years ago with Holly, who he married in 1987.
Jackie left Port Charles on April 20, 1984. Biographies of Harrison Chase say he was born in July 1991….so how could Robert be his father? He would have to be several years older to be Robert’s! General Hospital would have to change history to make him Robert’s son, but it’s not like they haven’t done that before! Robert would have had to have been fooling around with both Holly and Jackie around the same time.
GH Comings & Goings – Jackie Templeton Did Leave Town Suddenly, Not Long After Finding Susan Moore’s Body
Jackie did leave town suddenly not very long after finding Susan’s body. She found Susan in February and left in April. However, character history does show that for some reason Jackie punched Robert in the face on January 28, 1983! Maybe she was pregnant and didn’t tell Robert at the time? Holly was pregnant with Ethan around that time and Robert married her because she was on the deportation list.
Luke was laid up with a broken back in Canada, having been caught in an avalanche and presumed dead. However, at the time Holly said she had miscarried after the wedding. General Hospital changed that history years later to reveal that she had not miscarried but given birth to Ethan and gave him up for adoption! Holly’s GH history also includes her being presumed dead from a car crash in 1987 but instead being comatose from 1987 through 1992 when she reappeared.
Apparently, General Hospital spoilers show she faked her death during the time she was pregnant with Ethan, after having lied to Robert that she had miscarried. Meanwhile, Jackie left town in 1984! If Robert is Chase’s father, General Hospital will have to rewrite history once again. They will either have to have Jackie leaving Port Charles much later, or both Ethan and Chase being born much earlier!

Jackie Templeton, Robert's old flame, is back in town and has a big secret. She's also Chase's mom. Question: Is Robert Chase's father?
You say Robert and Holly were married in 1987, but they were married 1 week before Valentine's Day 1983. If Ethan was born Sept 1987, then Holly could have been pregnant Jan 1987 right before her supposed plane crash, with her never telling Robert about the pregnancy. So it's theoretically possible for Ethan to be Robert's son. As far as Chase, he was born the same time that Robert was marrying Anna, so GH would have to change his birthday to sometime in 1983, a bit before Robert married Holly.
Here we go smh
Yes, they were married, Robert married her to keep her from being deported. They claim that they may gave to change some dates. We all know how soaps are; nothing's perfect
I would say Ethan and Chase appear to be about the same age. So I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to manipulate history a bit.
I watched GH through the eighties yet I still feel like I was comatose myself after reading how much the writers manipulated the character stories. I do know one thing-Jackie got around and its only a matter of time or episodes when we find out who's kid Chase is.
