General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) might be a plant sent to Port Charles to keep an eye on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). GH fans know that while Brando has attempted to keep a low profile, his behavior suggests there’s more to him than meets the eye.

General Hospital Spoilers 2020 – Sonny Corinthos And Brando Corbin Eye Each Other

At this point, GH fans might be willing to ask themselves just who is watching who. If viewers recall, Sonny was the one who wanted to keep Brando around in the first place. Some might argue that this move on Sonny’s part was entirely to keep Brando close. Of course, some might ask why Sonny would do such a thing. The answer to that is that if GH viewers remember, Brando took a bullet for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He did that while dressed up as one of Sonny’s employees at Sonny’s coffee warehouse. Yet, nobody knows why Brando was there, why he was dressed like that … nothing.

Hence, Sonny’s desire to watch Brando. Maybe Brando’s an okay guy. Then again, maybe Brando’s not. And what is that saying? Sonny keeps friends close, and he keeps his enemies closer.

On the flip side, some believe that Brando was already watching Sonny and/or Sonny’s operations when he was shot. Now that viewers know Brando has asked Sonny’s permission to stay in Port Charles, he might just be angling to keep himself close so that he can continue to keep watch.

GH Updates & Spoilers – If Brando Corbin Works For Cyrus Renault

If the fan theory that Brando works for the evil Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) turns out to be true, then Brando has positioned himself perfectly. Some have argued that Brando just might be a criminal sleeper agent with orders to get close to Sonny. He won’t act maliciously until given orders by Cyrus. In the meantime, Brando will keep an eye on Sonny and perhaps give Cyrus information on the inner workings of Sonny’s organization, his family, his household … his security arrangements.

Otherwise, Cyrus would leave Brando to live his life as he sees fit. That’s why Brando can come off as a nice guy. Brando can appear to be a normal guy who just wants to be left alone to run his business, get a girlfriend, take in the Port Charles sights …Until Cyrus needs him to stick a knife in Sonny’s ribs. Of course, this theory doesn’t answer the question as to why Brando would have saved Carly in the first place unless it was to give himself a foot in Sonny’s door.

General Hospital Spoilers Rumors – If Brando Corbin ’s An Undercover Cop

Now, many of the same things that would apply to Brando as a criminal in the employ of Cyrus Renault also apply if he’s an undercover FBI agent, etc. The only difference would be Brando’s motives and goals. If Brando is a cop, it’s entirely possible that “Brando Corbyn” is merely a cover and that isn’t even his real name.

It would be a case of an appropriated identity on Brando’s part. It could be that Brando has a goal of gathering evidence that could put Sonny behind bars. Saving Carly Corinthos might indeed have been instinctual for Brando because he’s a cop, and cops are supposed to be good guys and heroes.

Whether Brando is a villain, a saint, or just a mechanic is still up in the air at this point. However, GH fans might agree that his motives for staying in Port Charles, close to the Corinthos family still seem suspect!
