General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills) have been working on a plan to track down their daughter, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). The last time Ryan saw Esme, she was planning to track down and torment Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), which is precisely what she’s done.

However, she planned to extort money from him to pay for her own accommodations and enable her to continue to visit her father. Never did she mention any part of her plan including not coming back to see him for any length of time — especially given how concerned he was when she did that before after stumbling off the parapet at Wyndemere. When Ryan and Heather learn more about Nikolas’ current affairs, it’s going to give rise to a whole new level of concern for her and their grandchild.

When Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) returns to Spring Ridge to taunt and belittle Ryan, she’s going to let an important detail slip this time around that she would have never imagined would matter to Ryan and Heather so much. Currently, they only know that Esme was intent on destroying Nikolas’ life, and they could presume there is a fair amount of risk in her plan because Nik wouldn’t be afraid to get rid of her once and for all. That being said, when Ava shares that Nik abandoned their marriage in favor of his latest fling with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). The name will certainly catch Heather’s attention from the other side of the room.

This news will convince Ryan that Nikolas must be holding Esme captive. There would be no other reason he would ditch Ava for someone like Elizabeth.
