General Hospital Spoilers: Ryan Chamberlain Not Really Brain Dead, A Ploy To Escape Captivity Once Again?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that in Port Charles, NY Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may no longer have brain function after being stabbed in the back and deprived of oxygen for a long period of time. This is good news to the people of Port Charles, because it means that Ryan can no longer terrorize them.

But is Ryan really as unresponsive as he appears? He was a part of the memory mapping procedure involving several sets of identical twins. It’s quite possible that Ryan’s brain works differently because of those experiments. And if he is faking his unresponsive status, how long before another killing spree begins?

Is Felix DuBois Next On Ryan Chamberlain’s List?

Recently, General Hospital made a point to have Felix DuBois (Marc Samuel) discussing how much he hoped Ryan never recovered while in Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) room. Of course, Felix thinks that Ryan can’t hear him but if Ryan is not mentally impaired, then he surely heard Felix harsh words. Even so, Felix is probably not on Ryan’s radar. He’s got bigger fish to fry. But if Felix catches Ryan awake and alert, Ryan would certainly not hesitate to kill Felix. But there are a lot of people much higher on Ryan’s hit list.

Ryan Chamberlain Could Take His Kidney Back

Ryan didn’t willingly donate his kidney to save Jordan Ashford’s (Brianna Nicole Henry) life. His twin brother Dr. Kevin Collins (also Jon Lindstrom) signed the paperwork while pretending to be Ryan. When Ryan woke up in prison only to find his kidney was gone, he was livid. If he becomes able to move about freely, while pretending to be brain dead, one of his first acts might be to cut his kidney out of Jordan, killing her. But Ryan is more than likely more focused on his obsession, Ava Jerome (Maura West and her husband Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Ava Jerome’s Harsh Words

Like Felix, Ava had no problem telling Ryan exactly how much she hates him. And the fact the she is happily married to Nikolas will keep Ava the subject of most of Ryan’s hate. And if everyone thinks he is helpless, he has the perfect cover since it has already been established that his hospital room isn’t heavily guarded, if it’s guarded at all. He could learn the routines of the doctors and nurses so he knows when its safe to leave his hospital room and when he would need to return to maintain his cover! This could make Ryan more dangerous than ever!
