General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a beloved alum is churning the gossip waters with talk of a return. Ryan Paevey played Nathan West on the ABC sudser and the character is presumed dead and departed. Soap death is not lasting however, so fans are always hoping that their faves will return in one form or another. Is a return in the cards for Nathan?

To be fair, Paevey did not tease a return to the soap, he merely responded to a question asked of him by Soaps @ SheKnows. Most soap stars know better than to fan the flames of a comeback where there is none!
Nonetheless, Paevey answered the question honestly. Would his character ever come back to Port Charles, New York?

“I mean, that’s something that we would have to discuss,” he told the outlet. “You know, my life has changed quite a bit since I left, and it would be tricky to balance everything out. We don’t have any plans at present, but I’m always open to work. I don’t know if anybody’s picked up on this yet, but I am a little bit of a workhorse. I don’t sit still very well.”

So there you have it soap fans, there is nothing in the works planned to bring back Paevey as Nathan. I can hear the soapy wheels turning in your minds daytime fans—for the record there is also no news of a Nathan recast!
That doesn’t mean you can’t watch Paevey on tv. He has starred in several Hallmark movies and he has a Hallmark Channel movie coming out on Saturday 21, 2021 titled, A Little Daytime Drama.

GH Spoilers – Nathan West Is Missed In Port Charles, New York
Despite Paevey’s confirmation of a non-return, it’s intriguing to think about how Nathan’s arrival would complicate things in Port Charles, New York. Not too long ago his ex Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gave birth to a baby conceived with a serial killing maniac. That would not sit well with police officer Nathan.
Making matters more bleak, Maxie is pretending that her baby died and handed it off to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) to raise for the time being. If there is ever a time for level headed Nathan to come back and straighten things out, it would be now!

They should NEVER kill off major characters. Why do this for a small bump in their rating then they want to rehire them somewhere down the line. This is such a worn out ploy that backfires. I don't really like (Hate) the sudden twin thing. It's lazy and phony writing. Just don't kill off characters that you may want to see return later. Characters that return as ghosts are near useless
Nathan needs to come back to Maxie so he can protect her from Peter and she can be happy.
MUCH rather see him than peter!
Could bring him back by having Faison shooting him with a drug that slowed his heart down. Then Peter kidnapped his body and kept him hidden like he did Drew. Drew finds him and the two make their way back home
Peter August is handsome. Turn him into a good person like you did Valentin
Get rid of Sam McCall and her boobs always showing. Get rid of mammypammy Willow. Carley and Jason marrying is a very sick story. Sometimes I wonder why I still watch GH. It's getting to be sick and discussing.
Peter already killed Nathan once!
but he isn't presumed dead he died in the hospital. but that don't mean anything when it comes to Days
