General Hospital spoilers tease Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is going to come clean soon to the person who matters the most to him — his daughter, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). He’s been biding his time and waiting for the right moment to tell her who he is to her.
Part of him hoped the very sight of him would jog her memory, but that face hasn’t helped Esme recall any of her past beyond feeling like she recognized it when Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) walked into her hospital room after she was rescued. When Ryan tells Esme he is her father, she might not take to his assertion very quickly. Will it help her remember, or will she resist the insinuation that she is related to such a monster?
General Hospital Spoilers — Heather Webber Stresses They’re Running Out of Time
Heather is going to push Ryan to get on with it already. She knows they’re running low on time to get Esme somewhere else where she can safely give birth without being captured. They need to make it Canada, perhaps. As long as Ryan keeps dragging his feet and preferring to pretend they don’t work, she’s hitched to his paralyzed wagon and stuck in Spring Ridge where Esme’s baby remains at risk of being seized by the state.
GH Spoilers – Say Ryan Reveals His Relationship To Esme
When Ryan tells Esme he is her birth father, she’s going to be stunned. She knew she was adopted and that her adoptive parents had died many years earlier. Lucky for her, she doesn’t remember how, because she could have had something to do with it. Furthermore, she doesn’t remember her childhood nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald.
That may be working in Heather’s favor, because Heather may actually be Maggie, too. So Heather has no plans to reveal her identity to Esme until they’re free from Spring Ridge, which means it will throw her off when Ryan reveals his secret attachment to her prematurely.
General Hospital Spoilers — Will Esme Receive Her Father’s Love?
It’s difficult to assess whether Esme will be open to loving her father and letting him into her life — or what little of one she has. She’s been apprehensive since she washed up on the Haunted Star.
She’s not jumping to trust anyone, and she’s scared she doesn’t know who is really on her side. She can’t relate to the stories that she’s been told about the person she was before she lost her memory. Will they make more sense when she realizes she came from such a monster of a father?
