General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Apologizes To Alexis For Driving Her To Drink – Is She Really To Blame?

General Hospital: Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will finally apologize to her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for upsetting her enough to make her drink in an upcoming episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall And Alexis Davis Had An Intense Argument About Sam’s Parole After Damian Spinelli Was Arrested

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sam and Alexis had an intense argument about Sam’s parole after Alexis got an emergency call from Sam to come to a bar in Queens’ Point, NY, where Sam and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) had been trying to do a sting on Sam’s parole officer, Delores Malone (Andi Chapman) where Spinelli had been caught after following Malone and a councilman and had gotten proof of an affair – until Spinelli was arrested for unlawful surveillance and blackmail!

Alexis arrived at the bar where Sam introduced Alexis and Delores. Delores explained that Sam had sent Spinelli to dig up dirt on her that she could use as leverage against her to get the restrictions on her parole reduced – namely, that she couldn’t be around Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), or really, anyone who had a felony record, no matter how many years ago it was.

Alexis told Delores Spinelli couldn’t be arrested unless he had gotten photos of the two of them naked, and then when Alexis had asked Delores what she was doing when Spinelli was surveilling her and the councilmen, he spoke up and said the two of them were in the backseat, to which Alexis responded to him, “One more word, and I’ll let you rot!” He had been unable to get any photos due to the combination of low light and the car rocking! Alexis finally got her to agree not to press charges against Sam and Spinelli, and an argument ensued!

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Started In On Her Daughter About Her Bad Choices

After the parole officer left, Alexis started in on Sam, wanting to know what in the h double hockey sticks she was thinking! She told Sam how terrible her choices to try and do a sting on the parole officer were, and wondered if Sam had even thought about her kids in all this! Sam insisted she had been, and it was all about putting her family back together – but including Jason!

Alexis then continued, telling Sam that her job was supposed to be doing whatever she could to abide by the terms of her parole, not try to get herself arrested again! Sam then accused Alexis of being a pushover, and refusing to fight for anything anymore, and went on about how Alexis hadn’t tried to fight back against those keeping Alexis and Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanagan) and how she used to admire her mother but now she just felt sorry for her.

A few minutes later, seeing Alexis in tears (a rare occasion) she did apologize that she’d been selfish, desperate and stupid and for taking her anger out on her, but didn’t find out until later that Alexis had fallen off the wagon because of their argument!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Hears About The Ruckus In Neil Byrne’s New Office At General Hospital

Then Sam hears through the grapevine about the ruckus in Neil Byrne’s new office at General Hospital – and that her birth father, Julian Jerome (William DeVry) had been the cause of it, and it was over Alexis! Now Sam knows she has to do a little investigative work and find out what exactly this was all about – and there are plenty of gossipy nurses she can ask!

She finds out that Julian had barged into the office and slugged Neil because he had assumed that Neil was the cause of Alexis having fallen off the wagon and laid into him even though Neil had nothing to do with it – but decides to ask Julian his side of the story first – by phone since now Sam has to assume Officer Malone is dogging her every step!

Julian tells her that Alexis told him Neil had not been the problem, and had apologized since but did tell her to keep an eye on her mom because, for whatever reason, he had to give her a ride and wants to make sure she doesn’t lapse back into the alcoholism she suffered a few years ago. Sam realizes that she and her mother’s argument must have been the cause because she remembers she upset her enough she was in tears.

Sam tries not to take concern about Julian exhibiting some latent jealousy after all this time, but she has to wonder! She calls Alexis and lets her know Julian was concerned and wants her to keep an eye out on her so she won’t fall off the wagon again, although she doesn’t tell her the hospital gossip. That would only make things worse!

They meet and Sam tells Alexis she is sorry for upsetting her so much that she was tempted to drink again there at the bar in Queen’s Point, and the two make amends.
