General Hospital spoilers leak Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is soon to be no more. While all the fans aren’t on the same page about Monaco being written off the show — much less about potentially being killed off — it’s happening. Now, we have to entertain whether Sam is the angel who gives her life so that Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) can come back to her family.
As soon as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) shared the news of Lulu’s diagnosis with cirrhosis and need for a liver transplant with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he and Sam were immediately interested in being screened as potential donors. When she learns she’s a match, will Sam put herself on the chopping block to save Dante’s ex-wife?
General Hospital Spoilers — There’s No Way Out Anyway
Obviously, whoever shows up as a match for Lulu is going to be stunned. No one expects to be picked — except maybe for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), who has been her donor before and didn’t end up qualifying this time around.
Sam might need some time to get her bearings, but she will quickly realize that even if she doesn’t want to do this, there is no clean way out of it.
How could she possibly deny Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) the chance to see his mom again?How could she say no to Dante, Laura, or Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez)? That’s right. She can’t.
GH Spoilers – Convey Sam McCall Steps Up…
Knowing there is no way out and that it is the right thing to do, Sam will likely step up to the plate and agree to donate her liver to Lulu.
Just as Laura stressed to Nikolas, the donation process isn’t simple or without risks. But Sam is in good health and won’t have any reason to suspect anything will go afoul.
Nonetheless, infection and more can stem from being put under. Some people never come back out of it.
That has led to some fans theorizing that Lulu may get a liver transplant and wake up, but Sam could be the one left in a coma this time.
General Hospital Spoilers — And Out
A coma could be a convenient way to switch up the storyline and leave Dante pining for Sam as she “sleeps” instead of Lulu, who is back living and breathing in front of him.
At least, that’s what we’re expecting for her since the role has been recast. But it’s also quite possible that Sam is going to be out for good — as in, dead.

NO! Not Lulu’s donor death! After all these years she deserves a better “going out death”. Send she and Jason off to rescue Lucky. Have Sam get caught in a cross fire, or have her step in front of Jason and take his bullet but live long enough for them to admit they still love each other and Jason to promise to take care of Danny and even Scout if Drew allowed it.
Give Sam a final hurrah likened to the way Sam lived her life. Fierce, passionate, unafraid, fighting and hell’bent-for leather!
Please don’t put her in some wimpy hospital bed, hooked up to machines. Let her die a warrior’s death in Jason’s arms!
Agreed! Or just recast her altogether. Why kill her off? Violet is being raised by Chase and Brooklynn, now Scout and Danny will have to live without their mom? What are the writers doing?
