General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Doesn’t Seem Happy With Or Without Jason, Is It Time To End Things?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that in Port Charles, NY Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) seems to be having a difficult time adjusting to being together with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for the first time since Jason came back from the dead almost two years ago. Jason went right back to working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and has noticed that Jason doesn’t give her information in a timely manner.
There have been several times in the last few weeks that Sam found something out, such as when Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was told by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) about Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) criminal past. Only when Spinelli casually mentioned it days later, did Sam find out. At that point, Sam and Jason agreed that she didn’t need to know details when it was about Sonny’s (Maurice Bernard) business, but everything Jason (Steve Burton) should inform Sam immediately.
General Hospital Spoilers – The explosion
When the Floating Rib exploded, Jason had left the restaurant well before the bomb went off. But even as he drove their son Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) to safety at the Quartermaines, he didn’t leave a text or call Sam, (Kelly Monaco) who was worried that both of them were in the explosion. It was obvious that Sam isn’t happy with Jason not keeping her informed. But she has lived with Jason before, and she knows the risks. Recently, she even risked violating her probation in order to see Jason. Sam was miserable without Jason, but sadly she doesn’t seem all that happy now that she is with him.
GH Spoilers – Perhaps Sam McCall And Jason Morgan Have Outgrown Each Other
Perhaps, after being apart so long, Sam and Jason just simply aren’t compatible any longer. Jason has recruited Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to keep an eye on Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) dealings at General Hospital. While Jason and Sam seem bored every time they are in the same room, Britt and Jason surprisingly had quite a bit of chemistry. But maybe things aren’t quite that dire, perhaps Sam and Jason just need time to adjust to being in one another’s lives full time.

Jasam is just not exciting anymore, its down and outright boring…….Sam is always walking around with a pouty face… she never smiles…..Time to shake things up until they can put some spark back into this relationship

Definitely. Whatever they may have had in the past is long gone. They have zero chemistry, are listed on every worst/most boring couple list and both look miserable. As a Sam fan I hate that they took away all her growth for a 2 bit hitman and as a Kelly fan I hate that they destroyed 5 yrs. of her hard work for someone who chose to leave
( just when Jasam was to reunite as a couple) and showed no interest in returning until Jasam became the #1 soap couple without him. Coincidence? I don't think so. No epic triangle? Why? It's a soap staple. Suddenly Sam and Drew (Kelly and Billy) can't even share scenes together, even as co-parents? Why? Too much competition? And let's not forget fireworks, Legos, earthquakes, pumpkin donuts, near drowning and more. This pairing has had every possible prop in the book for almost 3 yrs. and still can't bring in ratings. It's time to end them and move on.
Yes, the manipulation was so obvious and uncalled for. The couple with the chemistry was not even allowed scenes together. It is painful to remember how happy and alive Sam was with Drew and see how she is now.

It is sad that I must agree with Leslie V about Sam and Jason. The writer turn what was a strong well woman into a woman who forever need to save from the mess that she help started. She forget that she got two children that she is raising. Monica is raising her children. She is big uproar when Jason don't tell her what he doing. Suddenly she can't handle the fact that he is working for Sonny again.
I do not understand the rush to breaking up perfectly paired couples! Why can't they agree to sit down and hash out their issues? There are children to consider, for heaven's sake! If the love is still there, they can work through their issues. JaSam have been through hell and high water together. Breaking up should be the last solution, not the first!! Sheesh!!
I think that Sam needs to go back to the women who she was when she came,meaning who fights for the people she loves the PI that took no deal from anyone. Jason needs to go back and remember that Sam was always the to accept him and always had his back and fought beside him, also someone that he can completely trust. So Jason needs to remember that he can be honest and let Sam know what is going on. I really, really, really believe that JaSam can go back to the couple we know and love IF the WRITERS stop screwing up Jason and Sam give THEM a REAL STORYLINE.
This is what happens when you have writers that can't write a.cohesive story.They turned Sam into this delicate flower took away her back bone.Jason and Sam just work.Sam needs to go back to her strong self @kick some.butt
To me these writers make the women on this show weak.its not Jason.@Sam who need "help" it's the writers who need to go.
I don't think that they should be together anymore she Can't accept his working for Sonny like Carly does. She's more like Brenda Barrett was with Sonny. She was better off with Drew, because he was always there for her.

I have never been a Jasam fan. Just another one of Sonny’s leftovers, that was pushed on Jason, till they of course started seeing each other. Same old, same old…. Jason and Elizabeth are a forever love, great history together, great chemistry! I am not interested in seeing Jason with anyone else .
I agree that Sam/Jason have been written very poorly ever since Steve returned. They haven't had time together nor have they had a story line in which they could be in each others orbit. Sam nor Jason spend very little or no time with the children, let alone have time for themselves as a couple. Writers either need to correct this gross error or do the obvious and separate the couple. Perhaps if they are separated for a while it give them time to miss one another as sometimes, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Absolutly! Billy Miller was great in that role and I'd love to have him back.
I have loved Kelly since her first appearance but at seems she's lost interest in her role. She seems to be bored and off in nana land most of the time. I hate to say it but bring that actress that filled in for KM back. She played Sam with feeling, conviction and passion. Maybe the writers would be inclined to write better material for Jasam if the Sam part of the equation gave a damn.
And why hasn't someone close to her told her how unbecoming her new lips look. She was one if the most beautiful women on GH. I don't know what's happened but, well, all I'll say is not so much anymore..
I wish people would stop commenting on Kelly's appearance. No one knows what a person might be dealing with, not that she owes anyone anything but Kelly has said she did not have anything done. That should be respected.
