General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Gets an Unexpected Call — From Esme’s Nanny

General Hospital spoilers reveals Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has known something was amiss with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) longer than most have had any idea. When she started looking into Esme’s past, Sam didn’t do much digging to verify the facts that Spencer Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had already given her. They both just assumed those details were true.

However, Esme has been known to spin some pretty tall tales. When Esme’s nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald, reaches out, Sam is going to start second-guessing everything she thought she knew about this girl. Was the story she fed everyone about her childhood and adoptive parents really all she painted it to have been, or might there be more to it?

When Spencer asked Sam for help, he didn’t really need any more details on Esme’s life. He was just trying to figure out how he could track down Esme’s nanny — the only person he thought might have more information on Esme’s intentions in Port Charles.

Slowly, other issues took priority and everyone seemed to forget about the hunt for the elusive Maggie — including Sam. When she gets a call from someone out of the blue claiming to be Esme’s nanny, she’s going to be surprised, but pleasantly so.

Of course, Sam will do what any good investigator would do. She’s going to invite Maggie to come to Port Charles and meet with her. Right now, no one knows if Esme is still roaming the streets, but it is suspected since she was spotted on the pier by Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

This is the point at which Sam’s investigation may also reignite as she grows curious about why Esme was on the pier that serves to transport people to Spoon Island. Her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may not be far off base assuming Nikolas has something to do with Esme’s reappearance or her subsequent disappearance.

After they speak, Sam is going to realize there is much to be learned about Esme that no one knows — not even Spencer. Is Esme here as part of a bigger vendetta that has little to do with teenage melodrama?
