As much as Liesl chased after Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), even having two children with him, she was well aware of all things Faison, including his son! If anyone would know about Peter’s connection to Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and kidnapping Drew Cain (Billy Miller) out of Afghanistan to put into the memory mapping procedure with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from back then, Liesl would!

This may be a welcome opportunity for Liesl not only to clear her conscience but have something good come out of her past too; and besides, she still holds the death of her son Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) against Peter, even though she is way past the revenge stage of it.

GH Spoilers – The Main Thing Sam McCall Needs From Liesl Obrecht Is Help In Tying Peter August To The Disappearance Of Drew Cain And The Attempts On Dr. Andre Maddox’s Life

The main thing Sam needs from Liesl is her help in tying Peter to the disappearance and presumed death of Drew and the attempts on Andre’s life, which having her tell her story of what she knew from the past to District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) might accomplish. Robert already knew there was something shady going on with Peter’s many visits to Shiloh in Pentonville Prison, even though he used a cover story that it was for a story for his paper, “The Invader”.

Liesl most likely did not know anything about Shiloh or Hank Archer as he was going by in those days, but she most likely did know that Peter worked with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) in the memory mapping project in a much larger capacity than he has ever admitted to.

General Hospital Spoilers – Blackmailing and illegal money

This was what spurred Peter to do the things he did more recently, because he has made a new life for himself in Port Charles, and didn’t want his past to be exposed any more than it had been. As General Hospital viewers will recall, Shiloh was blackmailing him with the information to try and get the illegal money back that he had stolen from U.S. Navy bases by stealing fuel and selling it to insurgent forces.

The suspicions are already there on Robert’s part and have been for quite some time, and he just needs proof for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) theories that he told him in exchange for making Sam’s problems with her parole and her parole officer to go away! Liesl may have proof of those ties from the past that can be connected to the present!
