General Hospital Spoilers: Sam McCall Coming Back to Stop Drew – Scout & Danny’s Mom To The Rescue?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans are hoping Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will come back to stop Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Will Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) and Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) mom come to their rescue?

After Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) killed Sam through an intentional digitalis overdose in 2024, fans flew into a rage over her senseless demise. Ever since then, many viewers have been rooting for Sam to make a comeback.

Now that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) have recently cheated death, perhaps Sam should join the club! It’d be simple to add Sam to the same storyline and make her part of the mystery tied to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

Whatever the case, Sam’s return is needed now more than ever. Danny thankfully still has Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but he’s being shut out of his sister’s life thanks to Drew’s unfair restraining order.

Poor Scout has been used as a bargaining chip throughout the trial drama, so Drew obviously doesn’t care that much about her feelings. Scout almost missed out on spending the holidays with Sam’s side of the family thanks to Drew’s hot temper and selfishness.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) doesn’t want Drew controlling the narrative until Scout turns 18 and twisting her mind against Sam’s relatives. That’s why Alexis stepped up to defend Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), even after she found out the shooter truth.

Alexis understandably has some concerns about Willow being around Scout considering what she’s capable of.

However, as Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) pointed out, placating Drew was the only path to Scout access – and therefore, the only path to keeping her safe at the moment.

Alexis rushed to her own defense during her January 14 discussion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who was upset over Alexis’ treatment of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) during the trial.

Since Alexis offered a reminder that Sam wasn’t around to fix this Drew mess, that could be a hint that she’ll resurface after all. If anyone can make things right, it’s Scout and Danny’s fierce mother.

It’d be great if GH writers decided to undo Sam’s fatal outcome and bring her back to handle Drew.

Sam could make it her mission to stop Drew’s cruelty and ensure that Scout gets the proper care. Furthermore, Sam could make sure Danny and Scout finally get the brother-sister bonding time they’ve been longing for.
