General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Is Full Of Surprises, But The Next One Might Be Too Much For Cody

General Hospital spoilers leak Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has been to hell and back in the last few years. Losing her son and her late husband was brutal. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was patient enough to wait for her to be ready to love again, and now that they’re there, we don’t really want to wait around for either of them to be ready for the traditional way of doing things.

That being said, some fans would like to see Sasha approach marriage and settling down in a more formal fashion this time since things with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) were rushed along due to a surprise pregnancy. But we just can’t see how it would be a bad thing in this fam!

General Hospital Spoilers — Family First

The more the storyline trails on with Cody and Sasha, the more it appears family is the focus of wherever they’re headed. The entire time we’ve known Cody, he’s been challenged to grow up and be a better version of himself than he used to be.

Ever since Sasha came into his life, she has helped to ground him, and he’s been receptive to it. That being said, we saw how quickly he reacted to Mac Scoprio’s (John J. York) fury with him over keeping their father-son status a secret.

Cody was ready to hightail it out of town and abandon everyone who cared about him because he was uncomfortable. We sure hope that’s not going to continue to be his default response when things get hard.

GH Spoilers Report James Put Cody on the Spot

This week, we saw Cody sit down with Sasha and his family for lunch at the Quartermaine boathouse. While Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) wasn’t thrilled with the display, the family on deck was growing closer with each passing bite.

James West (Gary James Fuller) did a pretty good job of breaking the ice when he mentioned Cody and Sasha’s sleepovers with each other.

Giving Cody a much-needed segue to confirm Sasha was down with being his girlfriend, this confirmed that Cody is only building more of a foundation in Port Charles. Now, Sasha is a part of that package. What’s next?

General Hospital Spoilers — Baby On Board?

Cody doesn’t seem like a huge fan of surprises, but we think he’s just the right person to nurse Sasha through the waves of grief and uncertainty she may experience when finding herself suddenly pregnant again.

Having lost her son shortly after birth, it makes sense that she would fear the absolute worst in the next pregnancy. Will Cody inflate those concerns, downplay them too much to where she feels he just doesn’t get it, or will he be the perfect partner she needs on this journey?
