General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) just found out about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological connection to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Stunned is a short way to describe her reaction, but Sasha seemed rather overjoyed for Willow at the same time. Certainly, some of the twinkle in her eye was probably her rejoicing for Nina, too, knowing her friend has longed for a child of her own forever. When Sasha bumps into Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) again, she might relay this news to him and could open up about her own experience with Nina, which might leave Cody feeling more at home and understood than he has in a long time.

Sasha might share with Cody how happy she is for Nina and that she hopes Willow and Nina can work out their differences in time. Right now, she just wants Willow to live. The rest can be sorted out later. Still, this will certainly dredge up some old feelings for Sasha about the person she used to be when she was paid off by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to pretend to be Nina’s long lost daughter.
It blew up in her face, of course. She regrets lying to Nina and is grateful to this day that they were able to be friends again. This story might unnerve Cody some because he’s already told a similar lie and doesn’t want a similar blow-up.

Cody never expected to roll into Port Charles looking for Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) necklace and find out he has an amazing father who would welcome him with open arms.
When Cody got the DNA test results that confirmed Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is his dad, he was too afraid he would lose his claim to Taub’s necklace, so he lied and said Mac wasn’t his father. Now, Cody doesn’t feel like he is entitled to have a dad as good as Mac and so he hasn’t gone back on his word, despite wishing he had made a different choice in the beginning.

Cody is going to feel like Sasha really understands where he’s at in life. It’s too bad he couldn’t possibly reveal to her what he’s done to Mac, but he will still feel like they relate and he can understand where Sasha was coming from when she lied to Nina.
