General Hospital Spoilers: Scout Rebels Against Drew – Shocking Emancipation Bombshell Ahead?

General Hospital Spoilers: Scout's Fed Up With Drew's Control Tactics-Wants To File An Emancipation Request?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) is so fed up with her father Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) control tactics, she wants to file an emancipation request!

And she’s got just enough of her mom, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in her, she’d be gutsy enough to follow through.

If Scout Gets Emancipated, Her Father Can’t Keep Her From The Rest Of Her Family

If Scout gets emancipated, her father can’t keep her from the rest of her family, just because he doesn’t like them, or he’s jealous of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and doesn’t like Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) because of it.

It’s not that she doesn’t want a relationship with her father, or that she doesn’t love him, she just doesn’t want to lose her blood relatives to her mother to be able to keep a relationship with him!

But more than anything, Drew’s a control freak, and seems to be making a career out of it.

Drew does have a point that Danny can be impulsive and doesn’t think things out very well before he rushes in like a bull in a china shop. But he would never hurt his sister, or anyone else intentionally.

Scout Surreptitiously Texts Her Grandma Alexis

Scout hates lies and hates to lie to her father, but sometimes it’s the only thing she can do to survive with her control freak father! She doesn’t outright lie, she just withholds certain things, and certain truths that she knows he’ll disagree with.

Things like deleting her text to her grandma Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in case her father is checking her phone-she tells her she wants to be emancipated.

When Alexis gets the text, she’s tempted to get Scout a burner phone to use-if she could figure out how to get it to her! Emancipation of a minor is not an easy thing-it’s seldom granted just because of a control freak father.

Alexis Texts Her Back, And Asks Martin Grey To Help

Alexis does text her back and tells her because of the situation of Drew not wanting her to communicate with her either, contacts Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to confer.

Martin is Drew’s attorney and perhaps he can get a good point through to him, talking to Scout himself.

The story will be that Scout talked to Martin about the child emancipation issue so she won’t be in trouble for contacting Alexis.

What she hopes is that being informed his daughter is considering becoming an emancipated minor might be a wakeup call for Drew.

There are ways to handle the perceived safety issues with Danny, by structuring visitation-which might in effect, call Drew on the carpet!
