General Hospital Spoilers: Scout Spirals Out Of Control – Alexis Starts A Custody Battle?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that a lot has changed in little Scout Quartermaine’s (Cosette Abinante) life in a short time.

Her mother, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed away on Halloween 2024, and since, her entire world has been flipped upside down.

She moved out of her family’s home to the Quartermaines shortly after her mom passed away, which was an easy transition since her brother, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was there, along with her dad, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), and pseudo-stepbrother Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and pseudo-stepdad, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Still, ever since Drew’s affair with Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was exposed, poor Scout has been living out of a hotel room, isolated and alone from the ones she loves the most, her brothers – her “real” family. Could Scout’s mental health spiral?

Scout Is an Afterthought for Drew

Drew seems far too preoccupied with his work as a congressman, Willow and her drama, as well as bringing down his enemies – mainly Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) – to think about his daughter.

If Scout was struggling, would Drew even notice at this point? At least at the Qs, the house was a flurry of activity. There was always someone around if her dad or brothers weren’t there and now she has no one.

Alexis Doesn’t Like The Idea Of Scout Being “On Her Own”

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a chat with Drew recently and found out about him moving out of the Quartermaine mansion.

He was booted from his home because of his recent behavior; however, it was mentioned that Scout could stay. Still, Drew would never allow that, since he is her legal and sole guardian at this point.

Alexis didn’t like the idea of Scout being separated from her brothers. After all, everyone knows that Sam would’ve wanted her daughter to be with both Danny and Rocco.

This is why Jason and Dante agreed to move into the mansion together – so all three of Sam’s kids could still have a sense of normalcy with their siblings around.

Is Drew making sure that Scout is staying connected to her brothers and other family she grew close to at the mansion, like Brooklyn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson)?

What if Scout’s mental health is affected by all this? Drew may not notice in the beginning because he’s so busy being Port Charles’ #1 slimeball, but if she were to potentially run away, or lash out at school, then red flags would be raised.

Would Alexis step forward at that point and push for custody of her granddaughter? Alexis would definitely make the time to ensure Scout was a priority and also ensure she spent time with her brothers and other family she loves.
