General Hospital Spoilers – There Have Been Two Confirmed Mob Related Attacks And The Mayor Has Been Shot

General Hospital viewers will recall that there have been two confirmed mob-related attacks and Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was hit in the one on the waterfront that seemed to be targeting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

The other one was in a bar where Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) his father Mike Corbin, (Max Gail) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were, with the focus seeming to be either on Mike or on Sonny. Sonny had pulled Mike in front of him intending to push him down behind the bar as the gunman aimed, and poor Mike had a meltdown! This certainly didn’t help his condition any!

GH Spoilers – Whoever This Is, They Have Had Eyes On Sonny  Corinthos And His Family And They Know Who They Are

Whoever this is, they have had eyes on Sonny and his family and they know who they are and where they go! The Jeromes have been ruled out; Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was on a plane with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) on the way back from France, and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) had a valid alibi as well.

His other sister Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) is still in prison. Security tapes showed at least two gunmen in the area of the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, and the ones from the other location were made on very old equipment and they were grainy but seemed to indicate two gunmen there as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Commissioner Jordan Ashford Didn’t Intend To Call Lieutenant Marcus Taggert In On A Mob War But He’s Here

Jordan didn’t intend to call Lieutenant Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) in to help with a mob war, but he’s here, and he has lots and lots of experience fighting mobsters! She just wanted him to help her with the Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) case, but since he has come back to Port Charles and is apparently staying for a while, his experience will be put to good use!

However, this will be a new thing for Marcus; when he was in Port Charles before, he was fighting against Sonny – every chance he got! He even had a vendetta against him! But now, it seems more like Sonny and his family are targeted by this other mob entity and he will be fighting for Sonny to keep him and his family safe and by doing that, of course, keeping the rest of the Port Charles citizens safe as well.

GH Spoilers – Turf War Issues

But even an extra investigative mind will help Jordan with the turf war issues, sometimes two or three sets of minds are better than one! Of course, she has Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) but he doesn’t have experience with mobsters being mobsters whereas Lieutenant Marcus Taggert does!

Chase will be assigned to other crime but will, of course, be briefed in case he does see someone that looks like he could be a suspect or hanging around where he shouldn’t be.
