Sidwell Is The Best Villain Since Helena Cassadine
That’s because he’s done so much in such a short period of time and yes, he’s also managed to look good in the process, too. In just six months, he’s managed to sink his hooks into half the city and almost all the characters on the canvas.
He also neutralized Sonny and stole his pier, took control of Deception’s entire supply line, had full WSB backup and partnership and bought Wyndermere, among other things. Not only that, but he’s also humiliated Lucy and sent her packing.
A lot of people would also agree that nobody has made that much of an impact since…Jerry Jax took over Metro Court.
Clearly, General Hospital viewers sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “I love it. And I HATE that he will be the one to lose. I think it’s a bit overkill, like he should’ve just stuck with the deception OR Faison stuff instead of all this cross.”

What’s Next For Sidwell?
Another critic wrote, “Sidwell is entertaining and is actually menacing, what makes it better is that he keeps everyone on their toes one way or another.”
“Sidwell only cares about his son and his business and actually has the power to be a threat and is funny as well. Sidwell is here to stay and I hope he doesn’t become like Cyrus who went from a gangster to a man desperate to have a family.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’ve liked Sidwell since day one! He’s wicked yet charming and so entertaining. His corrupt schemes are even more impressive when you have them listed like this. Thanks!”
Then again, GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

Nope. Not even close. Faison, Liesel (she “killed” and kidnapped Robin!) Faith Roscoe, Anthony Zacharra, Claudia Zacchara, Jerry Jax, Alcazar, Manny (forgot his last name – creepy little tattoo covered gang dude), Shiloh, Nelle, Julian, Peter, RYAN CHAMBERLAIN, Heather, Cyrus….and probably some I’m forgetting, were at least as diabolical, most of them MORE so than Sidwell. He doesn’t even come close. And, he isn’t even fun to hate or enjoyable to watch. Some of the past villains were played so masterfully, that even at their most wicked, they were fun and intriguing to watch. Some of the “best”, worst ones were Cesar, Ryan and Cyrus. Mostly because the actors are PHENOMENAL! And all the Zacchara’s were great, too. Oh, and I almost forgot one of the best, worst of all villains, FRANCO! Again, so totally psycho at the beginning of his storyline, and SO fascinating to watch. I’d rather see almost any of these instead of Sidwell. ALMOST. I would have to stop watching for awhile if Shiloh came back, and Jerry Jax and Manny would probably make me tune out, too. But I’d LOVE to see Faith, Anthony, Cesar, Ryan, Heather and Cyrus in action again. Their special kind of crazy made them fun to watch. Sidwell? Not one thing enjoyable, or exciting, with him, or Pascal or Cullum either.

I agree with everyone you mentioned! Sidwell can’t hold a candle to them. For some reason he reminds me of Snidely Whiplash ready to tie someone to a train track like the cartoons!
And Manny’s last name was Ruiz
In my opinion, Helena and family are villains viewers loved to hate. Sidwell for most part is just hated.
