General Hospital Spoilers: Sidwell Shocks Drew With Congressman Replacement, Ominous Prediction Comes True?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) may shock Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with his congressman replacement. Will Sidwell’s ominous prediction come true?

Sidwell sent Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to monitor Drew in the January 13 episode since he was concerned about Drew acting up in court again. Once Jordan realized how worried Sidwell was, he made a big admission.

Sidwell came clean about his belief that perhaps Drew wasn’t the politician he needed in D.C. That led to Sidwell confessing his thoughts about the city being better served with someone else in Drew’s seat.

Of course, what Sidwell really means is HE’LL be better served by someone else taking Drew’s place. Sidwell is fed up with Drew and the issues his behavior is causing, so he’s ready to plop someone more cooperative in the role.

However, Jordan was baffled by Sidwell suggesting that he could just pick Drew’s replacement since he’s in an elected position. That’s when Sidwell warned Jordan not to underestimate him and ominously added that he typically gets what he wants.

GH viewers know Sidwell is willing to do just about anything to achieve his goals. When Sidwell decides on an outcome, he tends to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

That could certainly be the case in this situation with Drew now that Sidwell wants to shove him out. There are multiple angles for Sidwell to work when it comes to the end of Drew’s congressman career.

Sidwell could go to extremes and try to wipe Drew off the map like he did when he wiped out Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard). Even if Drew doesn’t end up deceased, he could perhaps fall into a coma like Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

On the other hand, Sidwell might take a less drastic approach if he launches one scandal too many for Congressman Cain. Perhaps Drew could be impeached or forced to give his resignation in the end.

No matter how it all goes down, Sidwell could use someone more helpful and easier to control in Drew’s spot. There’s no room for unruly, problematic people like Drew in Sidwell’s twisted web.

Knowing Sidwell as well as we do, he probably won’t rest until Drew is indeed replaced. Jordan may see the depth of Sidwell’s power if he manages to pull this off.
