General Hospital spoilers gush Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) absence has many in Port Charles worried about what has happened to her and whether her excuse about running off to chase a lead tied to the WSB is really true.
The longer she goes without checking in with work, friends, or family, the more suspicious and concerned everyone will become. But fans are starting to suspect she might return sooner than we think — looking just like Anna, but not quite acting like herself.
While many are expecting her twin sister Alex Merrick (Finola Hughes) to return pretending to be Anna, other fans have developed a new theory that Anna might return soon, but as a colder and more sinister version of herself. Could it be that the new person she’s about to embody is just Anna with a side of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)?
Faison’s Final Experiment
We’ve heard it time and time again that Faison was the boogeyman who just couldn’t be killed off.
We’ve seen him defy death on more than one occasion, but this time around really does feel like the real thing, even if it’s Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) at the helm with some mystery guy in the background.
For all we know, Faison’s brain is the mystery guy! Indeed, his brain was removed after his death and we saw it in a jar. Okay, we saw a brain in a jar and took it at face value that it was supposed to be Faison’s.
Nevertheless, his work may continue even from that brain in a jar — if it’s hooked up to the right tech equipment that could power and control a human being.
Is that what this project is really all about? Not mind mapping with someone else’s memories, but plugging Faison’s brain into other people to carry out his work — postmortem?
GH Spoilers Gossip Something Might Feel Off
If Anna comes back to town soon, we suspect a few people might question her in the same way that people are questioning Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Anna’s sudden departure was odd and not in character for her.
Moreover, coming back and being fixated on whatever project lies ahead — and potentially on seeing to it that Professor Henry ‘Hank’ Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) is granted justice with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis) and siblings behind bars, everyone is going to wonder what’s going on with her.
Just how long could she keep it under wraps that her mind has been melded with that of such a psychopathic killer? Will Anna even be aware of what has happened to her?
Is There Any Turning Back?
Ultimately, there has to be some way to fix this mess, right? If Faison’s cold fusion project is slated to change people into, well, entirely different people, then we can’t stand to lose our favorites forever.
So, characters like Anna could see a short stint acting up and out and like anything but themselves, but in the end, we need someone to reel it all in and make it normal again.
Is that person bound to be Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)? She’s the only one who seems to have the access, the know-how, and the heart to want to fix any of this as Faison’s final experiment goes off the rails.
Moreover, she has some marginal negotiating power with Sidwell and isn’t afraid to put her foot down with him from time to time.
If Anna does return brainwashed and conditioned to carry out Faison’s sick plans for the people of Port Chuck, will Britt be able to rescue her from her new self?
Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

I am not happy with the storyline on GH. It’s gotta get better or I will stop watching. I don’t like Drew or Sidwell
