General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that the honeymoon phase is definitely over in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) marriage now that her SEC secret has been exposed. But is this the end of Sina as fans know it?
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Misses Nina Reeves
GH spoilers for the week of January 15th note that Sonny will miss Nina, which is completely understandable. Still, when the proverbial poop hit the fan on New Year’s Eve, and his wife’s lies were exposed, he lost his temper in a big way.
Sonny hasn’t exactly provided an insight into his feelings; however, fans know all too well that he hates being lied to. But there’s far more to the reason behind his anger.
While he’s upset that Nina covered up what she did, the root of his frustration seems to be how badly Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) got hurt in the entire plan.
She not only almost went bankrupt, but she was completely stressed out about what Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) went through and the ordeal affected her love life, career, and mental health.
At some point, Sina will hash things out, once the dust settles. Still, while there’s a good chance that Sonny will want to move past this, will Nina?
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos “Cares” About All His Children’s Moms
As proven recently, Sonny does care about the well-being of all his children’s moms. He’s never been overly close with Ava Jerome (Maura West) but risked a lot to keep her safe.
Still, if Nina potentially pulled this SEC move on Ava, would Sonny be as mad as he is? Ava does rank low on the baby-mamma totem pole, so it’s hard to say.
When Nina realizes the root of Sonny’s anger is because of all the hurt and pain she caused Carly, she may wonder if her marriage is still worth fighting for.
It’s been brought to her attention time and time again that CarSon’s bond is a strong one, which extends far beyond Carly being the mother of three of Sonny’s kids. It’s also been mentioned multiple times that Sonny and Carly break up, only to reunite.
Nina may feel Sonny’s loyalty and affection to Carly being a constant in their relationship is just not worth it.
Sonny may forgive Nina, but will Nina want to stay in a marriage where Carly is always lingering? Comment below.

I like Sonny and Carly together. Not sure I like Nina, at all. She seems out of place.
Sonny and Nina, a mismatched couple from the beginning. The reason Sonny and Carly have such a strong is mostly due to Carly’s strength in supporting Sonny yes their children is a big part of it but Carly has always been his ride or die and always will be. On the other hand is Nina had been caught in the FBI’s web and given the option of going to jail and losing everything she has or turning on Sonny and walking away, Nina would give Sonny up and then cry and whine about how she didn’t have a choice. On another note Cynthia Watros is a fine actress but she does not play the part of Nina well at all. Time for a change, if the character of Nina is going to stay please recast the part
I always liked Nina with Valentine. They were great together. Sonny will always put Carly above everyone else as she is a saint and never does anything wrong .
I personally think Nina can do better then Sonny. She will never be first in his heart. No man is worth the heartache that he brings to a relationship. Sonny is allowed to have secrets and lies to cover them up. Nina is only allowed to live by Sonny’s rules. I would never go back to that double standard life if I was Nina.
Sonny doesn’t fit with Nina. She always wants to blame someone else. And I don’t think she will ever change. Her and Valentine are better together. I just don’t care for Nina’s character that she plays. Not the actress herself.
