General Hospital Spoilers Sneak Peek: Sonny Corinthos Pays His Father An Emotional Visit – The End Is Near

General Hospital Hospital Spoilers – Mike Corbin Has Been Failing Fast

General Hospital viewers will recall that Mike has been failing fast recently since Sonny made the decision not to put him on a feeding tube when he felt that Mike would not want that for himself. Now it appears that Mike is truly on his last legs, and Sonny visits him to try and make amends for the past while his father still has some understanding, even if he is unable to communicate in words. He is laying in a bed propped up on two pillows, which is probably to make him comfortable and also so he is able to breathe better.

Mike does not show a lot of emotion in his face, as his facial muscles now are likely starting to become paralyzed, as his throat already has – hence, he is unable to take food by mouth. Sonny sits down beside him, and takes his hand, and begins to speak. He starts by telling him that as his kids, Mike has always been the best part of his life.

He admits that he hasn’t always been perfect, but he wishes that he had for them, meaning his kids. Sonny also tells his father that he is lucky that his kids don’t judge him the way that he judged Mike in the past, as he takes his hand and squeezes it. He tells him his judgment of him was very unfair.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Continues To Try And Make Amends With Mike Before It’s Too Late

Sonny continues talking about his and Mike’s past, saying he knows that they didn’t spend much time together when Sonny was young, and that was Mike’s fault – but as Sonny has gotten older, he has realized that the reason that they didn’t spend more time together since then was Sonny’s own fault. Sonny tells his father, however, that he is happier than any words can say that they have spent more time together in recent years since Mike came back to Port Charles – even though he knows that it will soon be coming to an end.

Sonny had Mike in his own home for nearly two years before Mike started failing to the point that putting him in an Alzheimer’s care center was safer for everyone, including Mike himself. Sonny’s face fills with emotion as Mike attempts to speak, but cannot. Sonny looks like he’s struggling to hold back tears as much as Mike looks like he’s struggling to speak a word. Sonny bows his head, and then suddenly – he says, “You squeezed my hand, dad!”
