General Hospital spoilers tease that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will tell Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was framed, in an upcoming episode of GH!
General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Is Devastated Over Liesl Obrecht’s Arrest
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is devastated over Liesl’s arrest, suspected of causing the presumed death of Drew Cain (Billy Miller) by making his plane crash in the Gulf of Aden, and the attempted murders of Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) – twice – and the murder attempt on Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) as Dr. Maddox was getting ready to perform the memory transfer reversal on him at General Hospital.
She talks to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) about it at the Metro Court, saying she still can’t believe that this happened and that she let it happen, referring to her failure to see that Liesl was behind it all. Peter tries to comfort her, telling her that she is the last person to blame and that of course, Liesl didn’t want her to know. He goes on, telling her that Liesl having the love of Maxie and James was the one good thing that Liesl had in her life; and Maxie sadly responds, saying that now Liesl was throwing it all away. Peter hugs her and holds her close, trying to comfort her.
GH Spoilers – Damian Spinelli Motions Jason Morgan Over
Elsewhere in the Metro Court, Spinelli gets Jason’s attention and motions him over – and says, “Thank God – maybe she’ll listen to you (referring to Maxie) because she certainly won’t listen to me!” Jason responds, “Okay, what?” Spinelli continues excitedly, telling Jason “So, Peter framed Obrecht for his crimes! So, supposedly, she’s the one behind Drew’s plane crash, not Peter, along with the attacks on Dr. Maddox and Franco – all of it!” Jason asks Spinelli “Why?!”
Spinelli continues, with mouth running a mile a minute, and tells Jason, “Why, indeed! The theory currently being sold is that Obrecht wanted to cover her tracks, lest she is implicated in the original memory transfer.” Jason interrupts, telling Spinelli, “Yeah, but we know Peter was already there for the original memory transfer.” Then Spinelli answers, telling Jason, “Yes, precisely; Obrecht had nothing to do with it.

Anyone whose vision has not been obscured by a desperate need to believe could surely see the obvious truth – that at least in this instance, Obrecht is blameless… It is vital to me that I open her (Maxie’s) eyes — Jason, trying to get a word in edgewise, interrupts and says, “Spinelli, Spinelli! Maxie does not want to believe, okay? And you can’t make somebody believe if they don’t want to!”
Just then, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) walks up to Jason and Spinelli, and says “never a truer word was spoken!” Ironic – considering that Anna does not want to believe that Peter could be guilty of the crimes that he has framed Liesl Obrecht for!
