In fact, after July 2’s episode when Sidwell was taken away in cuffs, it looks like it’s already started heating up more!

Sonny Was Lured Into A Trap

Sonny was lured into a trap, as earlier, Justine had gone to the Jerome Art Gallery to ask Ava Jerome (Maura West) some questions about her relationship with Sidwell.

Sidwell, of course had gone missing after he tried to kill Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and then Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) ordered Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) to kill Sidwell.

Instead, Cassius let him go, and advised him to flee the country-which he didn’t, instead luring Sonny into a trap at the gallery.

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) was with Ava, Sonny having tasked him with being her bodyguard, when Sidwell burst in with a gun-at first he was going to take Ava hostage.

He shot Ethan, and then he decided to take Justine hostage instead, and forced him to call Sonny on her phone to meet her there.

A Tense Situation Became Even Tenser

A tense situation became even tenser, as Sidwell had a gun on Sonny, who told him his business partner of many years, Cullum was the one who killed Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo)!

Sonny dug deep into the grieving soul of Marco’s father, as he described how Marco was found filleted like a fish, bleeding out all night before he was found-and blamed Sidwell!

Then Sonny held a gun on Sidwell and was ready to kill him where he stood, but Justine talked him out of it, and with Sonny’s distraction of Sidwell, was able to make a quick call for backup.

Sonny told Sidwell that Justine saved his life, and soon the police came and hauled him away in handcuffs.

Ava went in the ambulance with Ethan, who had lost a lot of blood, and Sonny would check in on him later.

Sonny And Justine Joyfully Kissed Right There In The Gallery

Sonny and Justine joyfully kissed right there in the gallery, and it was her idea-and from there, they will continue to get closer, according to General Hospital spoilers.

It’s still a bit awkward for a mafia don and a district attorney to be falling in love, and keeping their relationship secret, but we all know they’ll figure it out.

Perceptive friends and family members, however, will see their lovers’ vibe when they spot them together.

Will it go even further, where they must make a decision to stop being daytime acquaintances and nighttime lovers? We’ll have to wait and see.
