General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Laura’s Dangerous Trap Could Turn Pascal Against Sidwell

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) work on setting a trap for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap.

But how will they convince Pascal (Marc Forget) to turn on his employer, and possibly kill him himself?

Sonny Thinks He’s Got The Answer To The Sidwell Problem

It’s obvious that Sonny thinks he’s got the answer to the Sidwell problem when he tells Laura that all they have to do is get Pascal to turn on Sidwell.

He makes this suggestion shortly after getting a call from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) telling him that Sidwell killed Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Pascal covered it up.

That means it must have been Pascal who put the corpse in Laura’s trunk and likely Pascal who took the photos, lurking somewhere nearby at the time.

Although in reality, it was probably Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) since “Nathan West” showed up when Laura had her flat tire-obviously, also a set up. But it’s also entirely possible the two were together that night, one a lookout or taking turns.

Sonny And Laura Continue Talking

Britt gave Sonny just enough inside information that he’s got enough rope to feed Pascal to hang himself and Sidwell with him-he explains to Laura the call that he got.

Of course, this was before they found out their mutual grandson Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) had run away with Britt. But in reality, he may be safer with her away from Port Charles because of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) – if they did indeed make it out of Port Charles!

Sonny tells Laura they can use the information to gaslight Pascal into thinking that Sidwell made him a patsy. And with Britt in the wind-as far as they know-she and Rocco will be safe from retaliation.

Planning Their Plot, Plotting Their Plan

The assumption Sonny gets, and Laura agrees with, is that by Britt’s wording “Pascal covered it up” he did the dirty work of disposing of the corpse and cleaning the murder scene.

All they have to do is plant the “seeds” and Laura doesn’t have to do anything except distract Sidwell, perhaps with the help of Ezra Boyle (Daniel  Cosgrove) setting up a meeting.

In the meanwhile, Sonny will be the one to go to Wyndemere and offer some words of caution to Pascal, who no doubt will answer the door. It might be to warn him he might want to leave town, lest he “wind up like Britt!”
