General Hospital: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a deal with Nina Wu (Lydia Look) but it will be a deal many General Hospital viewers won’t believe! Sonny will negotiate with her to take over his territory, because he’s walking away from the mob!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Has Tried Walking Away From The Mob Before

Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny has tried walking away from the mob before, but it has been a very, very long time. It was when Michael and Morgan Corinthos (Chad Duell, Bryan Craig) were very small boys and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) were worried for their safety – she wound up sending them to boarding school for their own safety!

Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny actually has tried to leave the mob several times, once when a botched hit on him left Michael in a coma! He tried again in 2017, after Morgan’s death, and things went along okay for a while – until Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) came along in early 2020, running his crew from behind bars! Sonny still has his legitimate businesses, as a coffee importer and owner of Pozzulo’s Italian Restaurant and Volonino’s Gym. Carly owns half of the Metro Court, so it’s not like the Corinthos family will go into the poor house if Sonny gets out of the mob.

GH Spoilers – With Cyrus Renault Making Threats It’s A Strange Time For Sonny Corinthos To Leave The Mob Again!

General Hospital viewers may think it’s a strange time for Sonny to leave the mob again, considering Cyrus is making threats! But with his best friend and enforcer Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gone for good this time, Sonny has to rethink things, and perhaps letting the Wu family take over may be for the best. Plus, Sonny has realized family is a lot more important than the “business” lately, and he’s being the father to his younger cousin Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) that he never had growing up, and both he and Carly are supporting him and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as their newborn Liam Mike Corbin (uncast infant) fights for his life in the NICU.

On the other hand, maybe it’s a plot – perhaps Sonny just WANTS Cyrus to think that he’s left the mob and given up his territory so he’ll get cocky and make mistakes! General Hospital viewers know that of the Five Families, the Wu family will be for Sonny; it was Nina Wu who made sure that it was the limo that Charles Buscema (Bart Tangredi) and Vincent Novak (Glenn Taranto) were in that blew up outside the church after Jason and Carly’s wedding!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Meets With Nina Wu

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny and Nina Wu have met a couple of times recently. One time was because she wanted to make sure that her nephew, who she revealed to be Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) would be treated fairly during his parole hearing and not retaliated against. Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Brad kept secret for a very long time that the little boy that he and ex-husband Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) had adopted was not the original baby, Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) and Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) baby boy, but the infant now known as Wiley Corinthos (Kyler and Caleb Ends) who is Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) child with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

This put Michael through grief unnecessarily as well as Willow, and they went through grief again for Willow’s baby, being together at the time when the truth came out. Perhaps his deal with Ms. Wu for his territories is not only for his own family’s protection, but for hers as well!

      We don't know since he's been no trusting with his wife..Sonny could be faking this territory take over can we trust Sonny???
