General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Made Up His Mind To Take The Mission After His Mother Tried To Visit

General Hospital viewers will recall that the WSB had offered Dante release in exchange for a mission. He has been in a WSB treatment facility for PTSD and brainwashing for a couple of years now. His mother, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) had come to visit him after Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) pulled some strings. Dante, however, wasn’t ready to either see his mother or accept the mission.

After she left, however, he realized it was time to get his head straight and return to his family! However, in recent episodes, Dante has run into a roadblock-or thought he did. When he told his WSB doctor, Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) he’d changed his mind, Kirk told him the offer had been rescinded! Dante blew up – but then Kirk told him it had only been a test. In the meantime, while his mother has been on her own mission with Robert and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) back home another family member, his grandfather has died.

Dante was in Port Charles long enough to get to know Mike Corbin (Max Gail) pretty well. He definitely would be affected upon hearing of his death. Dante knew Mike had Alzheimer’s’, he even rescued him a time or two when he’d wandered off. He and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) found him the time he took Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) to a stable, thinking she was Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) as a child.

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Receives Some Kind Of Paperwork

Dante receives some kind of paperwork in an upcoming GH episode, Monday, September 28. He looks up at the doctor and asks if it’s a joke, so it may not be what he’s expecting. But as viewers will recall, after Dr. Kirk told Dante that the rescinding of the offer was a joke, Kirk spoke to a higher-up.

He was extremely reticent to let Dante leave the facility because he had thought that he wasn’t ready yet. However, he’d been ordered to release Dante so he took steps to do so. Other General Hospital spoilers tease that Mike’s funeral will be held the week of October 5. The week of September 28 General Hospital will be pre-empted for at least three days for major league baseball.

So, it is possible that the paperwork Dante thinks is a joke has to do with his release. Dante has not been expected to be released at all, so if he shows up at Mike’s funeral, it will be a surprise! Dante would take his place beside his father Sonny Corinthos, and it would be an unexpected encounter indeed!
