General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Is a Revenge Victim, Marco Goes Against Sidwell’s Order To Wait?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be a revenge victim sooner than Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) plans. Will Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) go against Sidwell’s order to wait?

Sidwell has tried to stress the importance of patience when it comes to Sonny and the vengeance Marco so desperately wants. Marco continues to hold Sonny responsible for Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) grim fate, so he’s ready for Sonny’s true takedown.

Sidwell assured Marco that once Sonny was no longer of use, he’d be a “dead man.” We have no doubt that Sidwell means it, but you can bet Marco’s going to get tired of waiting around.

As far as Marco’s concerned, Sonny’s been allowed to roam around Port Charles too long without real payback. Marco understands the value of this whole blackmail situation that Sidwell’s set in motion, but that doesn’t mean he’ll let it go on indefinitely.

The current arrangement may be beneficial to Sidwell, but it doesn’t give Marco real satisfaction when it comes to Sonny paying for what happened to Natalia.

As the action heats up in 2026, Marco’s hatred for Sonny will only grow stronger. Revenge may become an obsession for Marco, who’ll become even more like his sinister father in the coming months.

Although Sidwell knows it’s all about how you play the game, Marco will be more interested in skipping to the end and savoring the ultimate Sonny victory.

This GH storyline will leave Marco contemplating a big decision – one that could involve going behind Sidwell’s back to get revenge. Marco may determine that if he leaves it up to Sidwell, he’ll keep facing delay after delay.

At some point, Marco may feel like enough is enough and just decide to handle Sonny himself. Marco might carry out a fatal plot against Sonny or hire someone to do it for him.

Either way, Marco could be taking some huge risks that’ll eventually backfire. This could put Marco’s relationship with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) in jeopardy and infuriate Sidwell too since he doesn’t like to be disobeyed.

Sonny will surely survive whatever Marco might have in store, so this could work to his advantage.

If Sonny can score proof that Marco tried to kill him, he could threaten to throw him behind bars. That could help put Sidwell in his place when it comes to all the Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) drama.
