General Hospital spoilers reveal fans have been speculating who might be behind the Pikeman Group. When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) originally took this deal, it was brought to him by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Could Valentin be mixed up in all of this? It doesn’t seem likely.

Besides, now that he is fully immersed in his romance with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), it’s not probable that he would work against Sonny, whom she holds dear. Regardless, Valentin could have been duped as well. But someone has set Sonny up to take the fall for trading weapons through his territory with a federal defense contractor. Who was it?

Sadly, it didn’t seem like it was much of a big decision for Sonny to pull the trigger on this deal. Perhaps he had his eyes on the prize and was looking at expanding his territory and his business instead of safeguarding it? Regardless, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had concerns that her ex-hubs might be getting in over his head, and she was right.

Many fans have drummed up the idea that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) came up with Pikeman. But it seems like she has enough on her plate right now with The Deceptor and Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight). Tracy may hate Sonnt, and she loathes Carly, but it’s not likely that she actually wanted Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in prison for so long. Furthermore, reports allege that someone is going to hire a hit on Sonny soon — and that is far outside of Tracy’s wheelhouse.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus Renault Comes Calling

One person comes to mind who might still have it out for Sonny and that person is Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). We just saw Cyrus welcome Drew to prison, and he seems intent on enveloping the guy and making him useful to him. Why do you think Cyrus is so interested in Drew? That remains unknown, but we know that having someone in his arsenal who is close to Sonny and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) would be of value to Cyrus. Could it be that Cyrus’ reach has never ended and still extends within the arms of the prison he is confined to?
