General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Puts Ric To The Test – Believes Ethan Over His Brother?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may put Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to the test this week on the ABC soap.

Ric made way too big of a deal of why Sonny shouldn’t trust Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and told Sonny to test Ethan-as a result he believes Ethan over Ric!

Ethan’s Started Following Ric

Ethan started following Ric and keeping an eye and ear out to see who he talked to and what the topics of discussion were; it started with observing Ric and Ava Jerome (Maura West) talking.

Ethan brought back what he’d observed and his suspicions to Sonny, which is what started the whole thing, and Sonny wanted more.

Sonny wants plenty of evidence and reasons to distrust Ric, since up until recently, he’d trusted him to represent him in his “business needs”.

That job was always Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy), and she didn’t understand, after so many years of Ric’s doing Sonny dirty, why he would even trust him, let alone with “the business”.

Ric had claimed that some experiences he’d recently had left him with more of an appreciation of family, and he wanted to make amends with Sonny.

Sonny Takes Everything Into Account That He Gets From Ethan’s Surveillance

Sonny trusts Ethan because he’s Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) son, but takes everything with a grain of salt, drawing on his surveillance of Ric.

Sonny can’t help but remember some of the extreme things that Ric did in the past that harmed his family more than helped them-Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the panic room, for instance.

But Ric doesn’t seem like he’s acting out of desperation, as he’s tried to judge Ethan according to his past behavior, whereas Ric has made his worst decisions based on desperation.

Sonny tries to be fair, but since Ethan did raise some valid points as to why he shouldn’t trust Ric so implicitly, he decides to put Ric to the test!

Sonny Leaves Some Evidence That Could Be Incriminating Where Ric Will Find It

Sonny leaves some faked evidence that could be incriminating where Ric will find it, and sets up a camera in a hidden place, and watches what he does.

He sets the camera to record, just in case Ethan’s suspicions are proven correct, and he needs to confront his brother. He observes as Ric comes into view, and finds the evidence, that could incriminate Sonny, should it come into the wrong hands.

Sonny then waits to see what Ric does-will he call him or rush over with the evidence and demand answers? Or will he do something underhanded or possibly take photos, and then leave without contacting him; Sonny may be faced with a dilemma!
