General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Sent To Ferncliffe, Declared Criminally Insane

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is willing to do whatever it takes to win full custody of her daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava & Grace Scarola) against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) let Ava know that her chances weren’t good unless Sonny basically either killed someone or had a mental breakdown in public.

Knowing that Sonny was already only receiving a quarter of his bi-polar medication, she then blackmailed Sonny’s pharmacist into switching his meds to full placebos.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome has a dangerous plan

Ava’s goal is to goad Sonny into having a nervous breakdown. He’s already committed some pretty violent acts even just on a quarter dose, so there’s not telling what he will do if he’s completely unmedicated.

Just weeks ago, Sonny almost beat Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to death in full view of his daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Now that he’s going to be completely unmedicated, he’s very likely to actually kill someone. And since Ava has been the recipient of Sonny’s anger lately, he could easily kill her.

There’s every chance Sonny could be arrested and face a criminal court. He could ever possibly end up in prison. But gives his behavior, he might instead end up institutionalized at Ferncliffe.

If Ava does manage to survive Sonny’s deadly attack, this is exactly the outcome she would hope for. That way, she could have Avery all to herself with little to no chance of Sonny ever getting her back even if he somehow manages to be released.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Truth will come out

Of course, Sonny would likely be released if the truth about his medication comes to light. But he’s got a long way to go before then, and Ava will take full advantage of the situation. There’s no telling if Ava will even survive if she’s the person Sonny attacks. 

She’s most definitely playing with fire. Ava has been making a lot of enemies lately, so its also possible that someone could potentially try to kill her and blame Sonny. He might actually be innocent even if he is completely unmedicated.
