General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Starts To See Nina In A Different Light

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might be a sharp businessman, but all is not fair in love and war with this guy. When Sonny falls for someone, he’s been known to put the blinders on, and it seems it’s possible that is just what has happened with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). While Sonny is well aware he couldn’t have known who he was — or she was — when they were in Nixon Falls, things are different now — supposedly.

Nina was steering the entire relationship when Sonny was still ‘Mike.’ Now that he’s himself again, he’s felt like they had a shot at a real romance, but maybe he’s fooled himself into believing Nina is a better person than she really is once again.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Tried To Hammer It Home

Sonny’s most recent altercation with Michael left him exasperated. Michael repeatedly told him how poisonous Nina was to his family, but Sonny refused to see it. Furthermore, when Michael reacted to Nina’s implication that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was having an affair with T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow), Sonny felt obligated and encouraged to validate Nina’s suspicions merely because he had developed his own after seeing Willow and T.J. together.

GH Spoilers – Tease T.J. Ashford May Have Swayed Sonny Corinthos

T.J. also gave Sonny an earful about Nina recently. When they ran into one another at the hospital, T.J. was on the warpath and looking for Nina, who has stayed home. Sonny inquired what bone T.J. wanted to pick with Nina and their conversation quickly peaked in intensity. Sonny made it clear he too had suspicions and that it was clear something was going on between Willow and T.J. — to which the good doctor quickly dispelled any rumor of romance. Sonny accepted his explanation, knowing T.J. to be an honest guy, but he was still confused as to what was happening between them. T.J. must’ve sounded just like Michael to Sonny as he berated Nina and insisted Sonny must be blind to what she’s trying to do to his family.

General Hospital Spoilers — Brick Will Bring It Full Circle

Sonny is going to introduce Nina to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) very soon, and he certainly won’t be expecting the response Brick delivers. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is gone, and Brick is the closest thing Sonny has to him in terms of friendship. He trusts Brick’s analysis of people and will be surprised when Brick pegs Nina in a less-than-favorable light. This third strike against Nina from people Sonny knows to be rational and kind will have him second-guessing whether Nina really could have an agenda she’s working to come between him and his son
