At GH, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) catches Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) off guard by asking him to marry her. Since Maxie was previously against marriage and Nathan doesn’t believe she’s ready for this step, he rejects her proposal. Maxie confesses she’d rather have a happier engagement memory, but she does love Nathan.
Later, Nathan starts to doze off from his painkillers and calls Maxie “Claudette” after expressing his love. Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) lashes out at Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) following his press conference about breaking up a major arms trafficking ring. Jordan thinks if Paul wants to play the hero, he should finish the job and place Ava Jerome (Maura West) under arrest.
General Hospital Spoilers – Paul Hornsby Argues With Jordan Ashford
Paul puts up a fight on that, but Jordan argues that she could get the warrant and do it herself. Paul doesn’t believe that since this case extends far behind the PCPD. At GH again, Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) updates Ava and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) on Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) condition. Kiki’s bullet was removed without any more damage to the spine, but her prognosis is uncertain.
However, Griffin acknowledges Kiki’s great support system and tries to give Ava hope. When Paul appears, Ava flies into a rage and shoves him. Paul tries to calm Ava after she threatens to kill him. They have a private conversation about Jordan’s growing desire to arrest Ava, so Ava expects Paul to handle it. There’s no way Ava’s going down alone.
GH Spoilers Updates – Ava Jerome Sings To Her Daughter
Ava winds up in Kiki’s room, where she strokes her daughter’s hair and sings to her. As for Paul, he tears up the arrest warrant Jordan presents and shows her another document that gives Ava immunity. In Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Montgomery) office, he speaks with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) staying under supervision.
Morgan was kept in restraints since it was preferable to a night in jail. Andre goes through a plan to help Morgan, which will require him to have his blood tested to make sure he’s taking his meds. Andre assures Carly and Sonny that Morgan’s going to get the necessary help.
Once Carly’s alone with Sonny, she rants about Kiki fighting to survive after the shooting. Sonny points out that he wasn’t connected to the arms shipment, but Carly thinks there’s a price to Sonny’s lifestyle and choices. Afterward, Carly’s shaken as she scrubs Kiki’s blood off her hands. Griffin finds Carly and does his best to offer guidance.
Morgan Heads To The Roof – ABC Soap Opera Updates
Back with Andre, he’s furious after realizing a nurse let Morgan slip out of his room. Andre hears about someone being on the roof soon after. Next, Morgan’s on the rooftop ledge and feels like he’d be doing his loved ones a favor by ending it all. Kiki appears to Morgan in a vision that becomes bloody and quite disturbing, but she vows to jump with Morgan so they can find peace together.
Morgan’s ready, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) shows up and grills his brother about who he’s talking to. When Morgan admits it’s Kiki, Michael corrects him since Kiki’s been in surgery. Andre makes it up to the roof, so he joins Michael in trying to get Morgan down off the ledge.
Andre and Michael’s attempts to talk Morgan out of jumping don’t work, so Sonny appears and climbs up there with Morgan. If Morgan’s going to jump, then Sonny’s going to jump, too. Morgan thinks Sonny’s other kids need their dad, but Sonny can’t stand the heartbreak of losing Morgan like this. In the end, Morgan takes Sonny’s hand and is helped down from the ledge.
