General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Tells Jason About Mike’s Will, Worried Gladys Changed It?

ABC General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, New York Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be concerned when he tells Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) will. Could Sonny be worried that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has altered it?

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Is A Golddigger

Gladys is a golddigger of the highest, or should that be lowest, order. Mike’s body wasn’t even cold yet when Gladys had the pure unmitigated gall to show up at the Metro Court after the funeral.

She didn’t even bother to get to Port Charles in time to even attend the funeral, but that was because her son Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) didn’t want her there! She found out when Turning Woods called her about Mike’s effects, apparently being listed as next of kin. That shouldn’t even have happened when it was Sonny Corinthos who has handled his father’s care from the first time he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease!

Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had to pretty much drag her out of the venue, with Carly tersely telling her the Corinthos ATM was closed after she tried to promote Brando into a higher position in Sonny’s “business”. Viewers will recall that Brando didn’t want anything to do with Sonny’s mob business, although he has agreed to work undercover with them to bring down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

She practically blackmailed Sonny into buying her a brand new car in exchange for keeping Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) true identity a secret. He had paid her some very big bucks to say he was Brando’s son, too, although of course, that was when Gladys was claiming Brando was dead!

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Is Concerned About Mike Corbin’s Will And Talks To Jason Morgan About It

Sonny talks to Jason about Mike’s will. He is concerned for one thing, about why Gladys was contacted by Turning Woods about Mike’s effects instead of him. As the next of kin, Sonny should be in charge of being the executor of Mike’s estate. That would include handling of the will to make sure his father’s final wishes are carried out to the letter.

But he is concerned if Gladys somehow overrode him with Turning Woods, how does he know that she didn’t somehow alter Mike’s will, making her sole beneficiary? They were cousins, but they were far from being the next of kin and didn’t have a whole lot to do with one another with him in New York and her in Connecticut, although Brando remembers him visiting and taking him out to see races and the like.

Sonny, needless to say, doesn’t trust Gladys at all; Mike was not close enough to her to want to leave everything to her! It’s her pattern he is concerned about – the pattern of financial demands from Sonny and his family! Jason agrees; Sonny needs to get the will be checked for authenticity before he just accepts whatever is on it. Contesting a will wasn’t something Sonny expected to have to do, but he may find himself forced into it!
