General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Sidwell's Final Battle-Justine Caught In The Crossfire?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in a summer spoilers preview in Soap Opera Digest, that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will have a final battle!

But it looks like Sonny’s secret girlfriend, Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will be caught in the crossfire-will she survive to put Sidwell away?

The Pieces Of The Plot Are Falling Into Place

Following Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) set up and Pascal Leveque’s (Marc Forget) payoff, the pieces of the plot to take down Sidwell are falling into place.

Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) is eager to be part of that plot, since he’s craving vengeance for the mistreatment of his mother Holly Sutton, (Emma Samms).

He’s not wild about how Sidwell kidnapped and nearly killed his relatively newfound half-sister Sasha Corbin (most recently Sofia Mattsson) either!

Sidwell was livid when his leverage was missing that he had over Sonny and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and he knew Lucas had to be responsible-so Lucas went on his revenge list, among others.

In the meantime, Sonny is working on a takedown plan that will work-still keeping Laura in the loop, but as long as Sidwell hasn’t been smoked out, he can’t be brought in.

Hiding In Plain Sight?

Last week, there was evidence that Sidwell may be hiding in plain sight, so to speak, when he tricked Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) into meeting him in a Metro Court suite.

Somehow, he had spotted Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) during a brief encounter with Ezra previously, which had been also in the hotel’s restaurant.

Sidwell spoofed Jacinda’s number and sent Ezra a text-obviously, he must either have plants giving him information or a whole lot of bugs planted!

It’s worth noting that the Metro Court is also home to the offices of Aurora Media and Crimson Magazine, where Jacinda is working, so Sidwell hiding out there makes sense.

But nonetheless, Sidwell’s days in Port Charles, and possibly on this earth, are numbered-with Sonny and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) working on a way to lure Sidwell and kill him!

Justine Is Caught In The Crossfire-Will She Survive To Bring Sidwell To Justice?

The summer spoilers in Soap Opera Digest say Sonny and Sidwell will enter a final battle, with several lives on the line-including Justine’s!

There’s a possibility that this will play out somewhere that Sonny and Justine are together, and Sidwell is the one who ambushes Sonny, instead of the other way around!

Obviously, that will not be how Sonny, Ric, and probably Ethan planned it-and although Sonny and Ric, if he’s there, survive, as well as Ethan, someone dies!

Will the fatality be Sidwell, or Justine, or possibly both of them in this likely shootout?

Considering the actors, Carlo Rota (Sidwell) and Nazneen Contractor (Justine) are married in real life, it makes sense for them to possibly both exit the GH canvas together!
