General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Wants To Know Whose Side Ric Is On?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is going to war with Ava Jerome (Maura West) over custody of their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava & Grace Scarola).

Both Sonny and Ava are struggling to find character witnesses to testify on their behalf. Sonny’s half-brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is on his way back to town. Sonny and Ric have been both friends and enemies so it will be interesting to see how they get along today.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing Will Have Business In Port Charles

However, at least at first, Ric will have other business to attend to when he first hits town. He shares a daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

As viewers know, Molly’s half-sister Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is acting as Molly’s surrogate because Molly is unable to have a baby herself.

Kristina may decide she wants to keep the baby and will need the support of her father since Alexis will be torn between them both.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Will Be Torn Between Her Daughters.

Alexis and Sonny are Kristina’s parents, so look for Alexis to do her best to stay neutral. That mean the situation will likely once again pit Sonny and Ric against each other.

To that end, Ric could very easily end up connecting with Ava as a means of payback. Assuming things don’t work out between Ana and John Cates (Adam Harrington), its easy to imagine Ric and Ava becoming co-conspirators both in and out of the bedroom.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing Does Love His Brother!

Payback is one thing, but Ric may be horrified to learn that Sonny’s current behavior is because Ava has taken over the plot to alter Sonny’s bi-polar medication. She’s even taken things a step further by having his meds replaced with placebos.

So even if Ric does side with Ava in the beginning, he might actually the one who reveals Ava’s evil scheme and set Sonny back on the path toward mental health. And once Kristina and Molly resolve their own issues, there’s no reason that Sonny and Ric can’t do the same.
