While Nina was deceiving Sonny, Carly moved on. Even though her wedding to Jason was supposed to be for business, the two fell in love. It was a romance that fans were not on board with. Sonny did come back to Port Charles before Jason and Carly could spend their wedding night together.

Even though Sonny knows that Carly and Jason fell in love after his “death,” fans might not realize how hurtful it was to him. Benard hinted at this during a recent Instagram Live Q&A session. The actor explained that Jason broke the code by falling in love and marrying Carly.

“… they have a code. They don’t want you to marry the best friend. Marry a stranger. That’s how these guys are.”

General Hospital spoilers reveal that fans are baffled why Sonny is turning to Nina after her deception. Perhaps this isn’t a love story at all, but a story of revenge. Could Sonny just be using Nina as a weapon to hurt Carly? Sonny might be hurting more over Jason and Carly’s love story than he has admitted.

It wouldn’t be the first time that someone has used another person as a weapon in soaps. It is also teased that there is a twist to this story and fans will finally understand.

GH Spoilers – ‘CarSon’ Happy Ending?

Even though there doesn’t seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel, soaps have a surprising way of reuniting couples. The actors keep hinting that fans will want to keep watching. So, could that mean Sonny and Carly eventually find their way back to each other?

      In my opinion, the above would be the best outcome for this horrible story line. But, I don't see it coming other than in the long run, Sonny/Carly will find themselves back together as usual regardless of who slept with who.

      Personally, I'm pretty much at the point of not really caring who ends up with whom! The writers seem a bit sadistic about manipulating us one way, then another. I hope they are having fun!

      Sonny is over doing the "romance" between Jason & Carly. He must not know the whole story. Jason fell for Britt. I guess he forgot that Carly always came back to him. But since Sonny is crossing the line to use Carly's worst enemy to hurt her & going deep in the gutter, this is the first time I think Carly should move on & dump Sonny for good. The old Sonny would never do anything so vicious and wrong. He must really hate Carly. His bi-polar actions are ruining his marriage for good.

      I don’t like hearing the reasons for Sonny being with Nina. I love Sonny and Nina. Carly can be very annoying and she is a hypocrite. It would be interesting to see something different

      I agree with you to a degree, but I don't like Sonny and Nina together. Sonny may have feelings for Nina, but he is wrong to put her ahead of his family.

      Through the years, I have always supported CarSon getting back together, but this betrayal is worst than any betrayal that Sonny has ever done with Carly. I don't know if even I can forgive him at this point, LOL. I am really going to need Sonny to suffer and realize what a horrible person Nina is before I can support a CarSon reunion again. Sonny really disgusted me this time around.

      Sonny & Nina can't last for long. She is going to spend the entire time trying to change him like most of the other "flavors of the month" and he is going to resist. She doesn't want him drinking, next thing you know, she's going to want him to leave the mob. Sonny is never going to change, not even for Nina.
