General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Dilemma – Nina Considers Nelle’s Request – Chase Arrests Brook LynnABC General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 20, tease that the ABC soap will take us back to some recent drama in Port Charles. GH will re-air an episode that was originally shown on May 6, 2020. Here’s what General Hospital fans can expect in this gripping encore.

At the Metro Court, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) scolds Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for how she handled things with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) earlier. Jax can understand why Nina feels connected to Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) due to their similar backgrounds, but Carly thinks Nina should be able to see through Nelle’s act.

Jax feels confident Nina will do the right thing when it comes to Nelle, but Carly’s stressed over everything that’s been going on – including Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) decline. Jax reassures Carly, who knows he’s the kind of guy who always tries to save the day. When Jax promises to speak with Nina about the Nelle situation, Carly feels better since Nina will listen to him.

At Turning Woods, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) mentions it being Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) and shows Mike his picture on his phone. Later, Sonny wrestles over what to do about Mike’s DNR. Unfortunately, Mike can’t comprehend anything and just mentions the Yankees.

Even so, Sonny seems to view that as a sign that Mike’s still in there on some level. After watching a Yankees game with Mike, Sonny continues to struggle with the idea of letting Mike go. Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is upset over the way Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) has been talking to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) also thinks it’s uncalled for.

Molly accuses Kristina of being jealous of Sam and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) romance. She doesn’t think Kristina has any right to judge Sam’s relationship since Kristina has never had a successful one. Sam eventually puts an end to the conflict and insists she needs a drink. Things get awkward due to Alexis, but Kristina doesn’t see what the big deal is since Alexis has been sober for years.

Alexis confesses that she fell off the wagon, and Sam takes the blame because of the fight that led to it. However, Alexis doesn’t hold Sam responsible. After Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) calls, Alexis tells Sam, Kristina, and Molly that she’s been disbarred.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) takes Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to the boxing gym, where she pushes him to hit her mitts as a stress reliever. Michael starts taking jabs, but Brook Lynn thinks he should hit harder.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) eventually arrive, which leads to Brook Lynn causing a huge scene. As Brook Lynn hurls insults, Chase urges Sasha not to stoop to Brook Lynn’s level. Brook Lynn ends up exiting the ring and delivering a punch to Sasha’s nose, which leaves Chase and Michael stunned.

When Michael decides to head to GH with Sasha, Brook Lynn offers a reminder not to give his ex. Chase starts blasting Brook Lynn over the punch, but she argues she didn’t mean to do it. After Sasha chews Chase out, he writes her a ticket for public disturbance. Brook Lynn rips it to shreds and tosses it before asking if Chase will write her one for littering next. Chase opts to arrest Brook Lynn instead!

At Crimson, Nina reminds Nelle that she’s only been working there for a month. Speaking about Nelle’s character in court would be tough. Nelle insists Nina’s testimony could really help and mentions the conversation she overheard. Nina thinks Nelle got the wrong idea. She makes it clear that Nelle’s naysayers have good reasons to feel how they feel.

Nevertheless, Nelle feels she can change and pushes Nina to give her an opportunity to do better. Although Nina’s wary because a kid’s involved, Nelle’s hopeful that Nina will give her this chance by testifying.

At The Floating Rib, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) isn’t impressed when Peter August (Wes Ramsey) offers his condolences over Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) death. Robert’s had too much to drink and doesn’t think it’s fair for someone like Peter to live while Holly meets a grim fate.

After Peter walks away, he sends a text demanding answers. When Maxie catches up with Peter, she points out that Robert’s just drunk and grieving. Maxie notes that Peter’s not to blame for Holly’s death, but he worries that he sort of is during a confrontation with his minion.

When the minion arrives outside, Peter shoves him against a wall and snarls that he said to distract Scorpio – not kill Holly Sutton! Peter’s mind is put at ease when his henchman promises the death was completely unrelated. Afterward, Peter realizes there’s no longer a need for a distraction since fate has intervened.

Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Felicia Scoprio (Kristina Wagner), they discuss Holly’s untimely demise. Suspicious Anna admits there seems to be more to the story here. Back at Crimson, Nina updates Jax on Nelle’s request. Jax hopes Nina isn’t actually considering the idea, but she confesses she agreed to think about testifying on Nelle’s behalf.

Jax reminds Nina that this is about Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), who’ll pay the price if Nina supports Nelle. At the Metro Court again, Nelle seems satisfied as she kicks back with some red wine. During a phone call to Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), Nelle passes along positive news about her character witness search.

General Hospital spoilers say this encore’s packed with great scenes, so stay tuned. Stick with ABC’s GH and don’t forget to check back often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
