General Hospital Spoilers – Losing Carly Corinthos
GH spoilers reveal that Sonny and Nina’s Nixon Falls romance was exposed during the Pennsylvania preliminary hearing. Sonny didn’t want Carly finding out in the way that she did. As Carly reels over Sonny having a romance with Nina, the couple has split up. Carly demanded that Sonny temporarily move out and if he wouldn’t leave, then she would.
Carly told her husband that she just needs some time alone. However, Sonny refuses to give Carly that and it’s just making the entire situation worse.

Sonny has stopped taking his bipolar medication and is spiraling out of control. As each day passes, Sonny is getting worse. Right now, he is in a manic episode and it could turn dangerous. There are a lot of people worried about Sonny, but all seem powerless to help him right now.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny started a lot of drama with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at the Savoy. Nina just happened to be there and convinced Sonny to leave before the police were called.
When Nina took Sonny back home, she told him that it was apparent he was in the middle of a manic episode. Then, Nina refused to leave unless someone was there with him. Nina even went to the extreme of threatening to call Carly, but Sonny asked her not to. Nina does call someone for help, but she could pay the price for that.

It is speculated that Sonny’s spiraling mental state will have him take extreme action against Nina. Some wonder if Sonny could even shoot Nina. It’s not just Nina hanging around that is bothering Sonny. A part of him blames Nina for his destroyed marriage with Carly.
Plus, Carly told Sonny that the problem needed to be eliminated. Carly said she didn’t mean to literally kill Nina. However, Sonny also vowed to find a way to prove his love to Carly. I agree that his missing time in Nixon Falls, and his amnesia hasn’t helped , but as muchCarly months ago got in Nina face over Wiley Nina should have gone to one someone else in Port Charles and spill it that Sonny was in Nixon Falls .
She would have come out better for it . That’s water under the bridge. What’s done is done . Will Sonny in a manic attack it is possible that not thinking goes and does the one thing Carly asked Eliminate the problem . That’s the world that Sonny lives in

If Carly loves her husband Sonny as much as she claims, WHY doesn’t she notice he’s acting MANIC and help him instead of giving him ultimatums over something so petty?!? If he does something serious and injures Nina, both Sonny AND Carly are to blame!!!
Okay, writers, I don't like the character of Nina but I also don't want Sonny or Michael or anyone to kill her. That definitely would not be a wise thing. Let him just scare her into leaving and someone like Carly is able to stop him and Nina leaves.H
Because she is hurting too. That's not really difficult to understand. Being hurt like Carly has doesn't just stop right away and you are into yourself. She will see it. She always does.
At least he is living in that world right now since he hadn't recovered from NF amnesia and everything else and including being off meds.
Yea because she didn't do anything questionable while Sonny had amnesia, like marry Sonnys best friend/brother. And take him to Sonnys bedroom. Where she had all intention and was in the process of taking him to the bed that she and Sonny shared… Carly is the biggest, self-serving hypocrite on daytime soaps. And I think most of us are pretty much done with her and her mouth.

Nina, instead of saying she wanted to speak with Carly, should have just said have you realized he's off his meds? Let his talk with Brando today put him back on the right tract for getting his meds back and taking them. Really HATE what the writers are doing. The fans have been through the bi-polar episodes so many times; don't need to redo it. Re the tramadol episodes with the teens; cannot believe the writers are actually doing this. Are they trying to teach the public something? Is Trina going to die? She could be one of the people who are allergic to the meds. What effect are Joss and Cam going to have? Why hasn't Spencer figured her out yet? He's not stupid; however, he never told anyone who really torched Ava's car.
Maxie needs her baby; Peter needs to be gone…FOREVER! Why was he kept on; of course, in real life, he's with the major female lead. He can never be redeemed; get rid of him – PERMANENTLY!
Love Maxie with Austin. Felicia is getting too nosy. Know she's worried about Maxie, but time for her to loosen up; maybe Maxie should tell her the truth?!

What this article doesn't acknowledge is that Sonny genuinely has feelings for Nina. I understand that a lot of fans are upset about that but the writers/actors have given us no reason to believe that Sonny would purposefully hurt Nina.
I find it impossible to believe that after all these years that Sonny's been a champion of treating and maintaining proper medication for bipolar that the writers would take this story in this direction. It is also insulting that we're to believe that no one would know immediately that he was off his meds. I mean jeez…phyllis didn't even know him and guessed he was bipolar and got him his meds. But not Carly, Michael, Elizabeth, Bobby, Epiphany, no one….even questions his behavior…its just lazy, sloppy, pathetic writing. Its not wonder GH as now consistently in 4th place in the ratings. No danger of us winning any Day Time Emmys again this year….
